After a bit of a rough patch, Levi has strung together a pair of strong starts. In his last two games, he's stopped a combined 60 of 63 shots while going 1-0-1. The 21-year-old is now 4-4-2 with a lackluster 3.27 GAA and .892 save percentage through 11 NHL appearances this season.

He was 1-1-0 with a .294 GAA and .921 save percentage in AHL action. He should see plenty of rubber, as the Bruins are tied for 11th with 31.8 shots on goal per contest.

Luukkonen, who is riding a three-game win streak, should be able to string together some starts.

He could use some development in the AHL, but the Sabres may not send him down unless they are miles out of contention.

He almost got the Sabres to a shootout, but Dylan Strome scored with eight seconds left in overtime to take the win. In November, Levi is 2-1-1 with 15 goals allowed and an .865 save percentage. Whispers are becoming louder that Levi would benefit from some development in the AHL, but there's no sign yet from the Sabres that this is even on the radar.

Levi is expected to start on the road against Washington on Wednesday, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.

Levi has struggled this season with a 3.65 GAA and an .881 save percentage in seven contests. He had a particularly rough time in his last appearance against Boston on Nov. 14, stopping 13 of 18 shots in a 5-2 loss. Washington should be an easier adversary -- the Capitals rank 31st offensively with 2.47 goals per game this year.
