Levi made 34 saves on 37 shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss to New Jersey in Czechia as part of the NHL Global Series.
EDGE Analysis
While he didn't get the win in his season debut, Levi showed his skills on a world stage. And those skills are elite. Levi was one of the best players on the ice, and he was the reason the score only favored the Devils by two. His mates only mustered 18 shots on Jake Allen at the other end. Levi won't be the top dog in Buffalo this season or in 2025-25 either, but this young man should get another chance at being a starter.

Levi will guard the road net in Saturday's 2024 NHL Global Series contest versus New Jersey, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levi will get the second half of a back-to-back after Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped 19 of 22 shots in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Devils. The 22-year-old Levi registered a 10-8-2 record with a 3.10 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 23 regular-season appearances with the Sabres in 2023-24. He enters the 2024-25 campaign as Luukkonen's backup but could face some competition for the role from James Reimer.

Levi will get the starting nod at home versus Columbus on Monday, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levi featured in 23 NHL games for the Sabres last year, going 10-8-2 with a 3.10 GAA and an .899 save percentage. Perhaps a strong preseason could change things up, but he seems destined for the AHL with Ukko-Pekka Lukkonen and James Reimer seemingly cemented in the NHL jobs for Buffalo. As such, Levi figures to be an attractive fantasy option only for managers in dynasty and keeper formats.

Levi was reassigned to AHL Rochester on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Levi has a 10-8-2 record, 3.10 GAA and .899 save percentage in 23 contests this season. Buffalo was carrying three healthy goaltenders, including Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and Eric Comrie, so moving Levi to the minors will allow the 22-year-old to get in some extra work. While the 2023-24 campaign has been far from ideal for Levi, he still has the potential to eventually develop into the Sabres' starting goaltender.

Levi stopped 28 of 30 shots in Friday's 5-2 win over the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
It was closer than the score would indicate, as the Sabres scored a couple of empty-netters in the final minute. Levi started poorly. giving up two goals within the first 10:31 before settling in the rest of the way. He has allowed five goals on 95 shots over three appearances since he was called up in mid-March. The 22-year-old is at 10-8-2 with a 3.10 GAA and an .899 save percentage over 23 outings this season. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen will likely start Saturday versus the Maple Leafs.

Levi will get the starting nod at home Friday against the Devils, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levi faced a whopping 32 shots in relief Wednesday against Ottawa but managed to stand tall and stop 31 of them. He's stopped 99 of 105 shots over his last three appearances but has just one win during that stretch. On the year, Levi is 9-8-2 with a 3.16 GAA and an .898 save percentage at the NHL level.

Levi stopped 31 of 32 shots after relieving Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in a 6-2 loss to the Senators on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Levi entered the game after Luukkonen allowed four goals in the first 8:49 of the first period. After allowing a goal to Brady Tkachuk late in the frame, Levi would proceed to blank the Senators over the final two periods. Despite the 22-year-old netminder's performance, the Sabres couldn't overcome the early 5-0 deficit, saddling Luukkonen with the loss. While Levi's seen limited action, he's been sharp recently, sporting a .943 save percentage over his last three appearances. Overall, he's 9-8-2 with an .898 save percentage and 3.16 GAA this season.

Levi stopped 31 of 33 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Levi was solid behind a Sabres team that didn't have its best play in the second half of a back-to-back. While Levi played well, it's unclear if that will be enough to keep him in the NHL once the Sabres' road trip through Western Canada comes to a close next week. The 22-year-old is at 9-8-2 with a 3.24 GAA and an .894 save percentage over 21 appearances this season. The Sabres continue the trip Thursday in Edmonton, but that game will likely see Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen back between the pipes.

Levi will start on the road versus the Canucks on Tuesday, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levi will handle the second half of a back-to-back after Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen guided the Sabres to a 6-2 win over the Kraken on Monday. This will be Levi's first NHL appearance since Jan. 24, and it comes against one of the best teams in the league, so he won't have much streaming appeal in fantasy.

According to Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News, Levi will be recalled from AHL Rochester for the Sabres' upcoming road trip.
EDGE Analysis
Buffalo has been relying on Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to play the majority of the games, as he has started 14 of 16 contests since Levi went down to the minors on Jan. 28. Eric Comrie has not done the job as a backup, making the recall of Levi necessary for the team's upcoming five-game road trip. Levi was outstanding Friday night, stopping 41 shots in a 5-2 Rochester win over Toronto. He should get the start either Monday in Seattle or Tuesday in Vancouver.
