His brand name probably outstrips his fantasy value at this stage, but there's still a place for him in mid-sized or deeper leagues.

Consider his services, but with hesitant expectations.

While he's had spurts of productivity peppered in between injuries and illness, with just five goals and 10 points in just 31 games played, it's clear fantasy owners expected much more from the former 60-point scorer.

The aging blueliner's first season on Broadway hasn't gone quite as most expected, but he's probably playing his best hockey right now. He's notched a point in four of his last five games, with Saturday marking his first multi-point showing of the campaign.

Boyle has assists in back-to-back games, but he's still largely failed to make an impact since returning from a broken hand in mid-November. He's mustered just four points and 31 shots on goal over 17 games and has seen his ice time fall below 20 minutes in each of the last five matches.

Boyle returned Saturday after missing two games with an illness. He finished minus-1 with one SOG, two blocks and three hits. Get him back in there if you roll him regularly -- he's not blowing the doors off offensively, but he's still a solid fantasy contributor.
