Anderson allowed five goals on 28 shots in Sunday's 5-0 loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Both teams finished with 28 shots, but while Anderson allowed five pucks to get by, fellow veteran netminder Brian Elliott was perfect on the other end. Anderson has suffered two consecutive losses after a surprisingly strong 6-1-2 stretch, but those losses came against two elite opponents in Carolina and Tampa Bay.

Anderson will be in goal for Sunday's game against the Lightning, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson did not play in Friday's loss to the Panthers, but he will be back in the net for Sunday's contest. He faced Tampa Bay back in October and picked up the win by stopping 35 of the 36 shots sent his direction in Buffalo's 5-1 win.

Anderson gave up four goals on 31 shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
After beating Carolina on Tuesday, Anderson was staked to a 2-0 lead after the first period of the rematch. Buffalo was also up 3-2 after two, but the Hurricanes stormed back with three unanswered goals in the third -- two against Anderson and another into an empty net. Even with this loss, the Sabres are 6-2-3 in their last 11 games and Anderson's 6-2-2 in his last 10. Buffalo's improved play of late has given Anderson some fantasy appeal down the stretch, but he's still better left on the bench in tougher matchups such as this one.

Anderson will guard the road goal during Thursday's matchup with the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was excellent in his last start Tuesday against Carolina, turning aside 32 of 34 shots en route to a 4-2 home victory. The 40-year-old vet will try to secure a second straight win over the same Hurricanes squad on the road Thursday.

Anderson made 32 saves in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran netminder held the potent Carolina in check, shutting down the Canes' top two lines completely on the night. Anderson is an impressive 8-2-2 over 12 starts since the beginning of March, but his 3.03 GAA and .901 save percentage during that stretch might be about the best you can expect from him at this stage of his career.

Anderson will be tending the twine against Carolina at home Tuesday, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is undefeated in regulation over his last five appearances, posting a 3-0-2 record, 2.88 GAA and .894 save percentage. At this point, the 40-year-old goalie will be a long shot to reach the 20-win mark but could still offer decent fantasy value given the right matchup.

Anderson made 22 saves in Friday's 4-3 win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
The two teams battled to a wild 3-3 stalemate in the first period, but Anderson shut the door on Nashville the rest of the way. The veteran goalie has only one regulation loss in his last eight starts, going 5-1-2, but his 2.92 GAA and .902 save percentage over that stretch indicate most of the credit should go to the Buffalo offense.

Anderson will get the starting nod at home against Nashville on Friday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has lost his last two outings, falling to 12-9-2 with a 3.07 GAA through 23 games. However, he's been impressive at home this season; the 40-year-old netminder is sporting a .920 save percentage and 2.43 GAA with a 7-3-1 record at KeyBank Center. Friday's tilt will be his first matchup with Nashville during the 2021-22 campaign.

Anderson allowed two goals on 27 shots through overtime in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was solid throughout the night but ran out of steam once the game got to the shootout, allowing all three Jets attempts to score. The Sabres have picked up their game of late and Anderson's record shows it, as he's gone 6-2-2 in his last 10 starts.

Anderson will get the starting nod at home versus the Jets on Wednesday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has given up five or more goals in two of his last four contests, including conceding five goals on 31 shots versus the Rangers on Sunday. Still, the 40-year-old netminder should continue to see the majority of the starts for Buffalo down the stretch unless the club wants to bring up youngster Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to give him some more opportunities to prove himself.
