Anderson will start in goal Saturday afternoon against host Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has lost 14 straight games dating back to Dec. 17. He'd been a valuable commodity in deep season-long leagues if for no other reason than him entering the season with plenty of job security, but the Senators ended up striking a deal with the Canucks for Anders Nilsson and Ottawa hosted a firesale, doing away with several big-name forwards to the detriment of its goalies. At any rate, the 35-year-old should hunker down and give it his all against an Oilers club with a road record of 16-17-5 this season.

Anderson stopped 31-of-36 shots in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Taking on the top home offense in the league proved too difficult for Anderson, who hasn't been in the win column since Dec. 17 (0-13-1 in 15 appearances in that span). Anderson's record fell to 14-25-4 for the season, with a 3.55 GAA and a .902 save percentage. The Senators next travel to Edmonton, but it's virtually impossible to recommend starting either of Anderson or Anders Nilsson at this point in the season.

Anderson will patrol the blue paint against the Flames on the road Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson appears to have conceded the starting job to Anders Nilsson, which shouldn't come as a surprise considering the 37-year-old Anderson is bogged down in a 14-game losing streak in which he is sporting a 3.59 GAA and .893 save percentage. The netminder is under contract for one more season at a $4.75 million cap hit, which will be a big contract for the Sens to eat if he is in fact serving as the No. 2.

Anderson stopped 33 of 36 shots Monday, but it again wasn't enough in a 3-2 loss to Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson actually played fairly well in this one, but the Senators' now-punchless offense means that he pretty much has to be perfect to get a result, and that again didn't happen. With Ottawa getting so few pucks to the net on offense, the pressure has been dialed up to 11 on Anderson and the defense, and that's not a great situation for your fantasy team.

Anderson will be between the pipes against the Flyers on the road Monday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is bogged down in a 12-game losing streak in which he posted a 3.63 GAA and .891save percentage. While the netminder certainly isn't blameless for the Senators' struggles, the fact that the organization sold several of its top players (Matt Duchene, Ryan Dzingel and Mark Stone) at the deadline doesn't make it any easy for him to put together a winning effort playing with guys who otherwise may still be in the minors.

Anderson made 28 saves in a 3-2 loss to Boston on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson should not be owned. Period. He has not won since Dec. 17. The Sens are young and impressionable, but not good at all.

Anderson will start between the pipes in Saturday's road matchup with Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will search for his first win of the 2019 calendar year -- he holds a record of 0-10-1 since his last win Dec. 17. The Illinois native's most recent outing was a shootout loss to the Islanders on Tuesday, where he gave up four goals on 38 shots. Anderson will face a tough test against the Bruins, who scored a seventh-best 3.38 goals per game in February.

Anderson stopped 34 of 38 shots and ended up on the wrong end of a 5-4 shootout loss to the Islanders on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has now made 12 straight appearances without a win, going 0-10-1 in that stretch with six instances of a save percentage below .900. Not all of that is his fault, as the Senators have little around him and give up far too many shots on goal, but that won't help fantasy owners any. Unless you have no other choice, Anderson shouldn't be one of your starting netminders right now.

Anderson will patrol the crease Tuesday as a road starter versus the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is mired in an 11-game losing streak with his last win dating back to Dec. 17. We wouldn't count on him snapping out the funk Tuesday, as he'll face an Islanders club that carries an impressive plus-30 goal differential on the season. However, fantasy owners insisting on going against the grain can glean confidence in the fact that the Isles have only won four of their past 10 contests to fall behind the Capitals in the Metropolitan Division standings.

Anderson made 29 saves in a 5-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
The loss was all but inevitable. The Bolts are the best in the NHL; the Sens are the worst. And the Ottawa crew is focused on youth. Anderson will look for his first win since Dec. 17 another day. Do not put him in your net under any circumstance.
