Anderson has been shaky as of late but was definitely on his game Saturday night. The Leafs controlled play in the first period but it was Anderson's sharp play that ignited the Sens' offence. When Anderson is on his game Ottawa is a completely different team.

Craig Anderson faced only 19 shots but allowed three in the Ottawa Senators' 3-2 loss to the visiting New York Rangers.
Anderson had been first-rate this season, and wasn't all that bad in this one, but couldn't stop the combination of Derek Stepan and Marion Gaborik. Stepan had a goal and two assists while Gaborik scored his eighth and ninth goals of the season.

Craig Anderson has a horrendous 3.80 GAA and .880 save percentage in 11 games.
Anderson blamed his numbers on a couple of blow outs, but the truth is he's allowed three or more goals in nine of his 11 contests. The main reason he still has a great 6-3-0 record is because the Senators have managed to score a lot of goals. However, the Senators will have a hard time making the playoffs if Anderson continues to struggle.
