What an effort from Schneider, who was the sole reason the Devils escaped with a point. The 29-year-old bounced back in a big way after giving up four goals in a loss to Florida on Thursday. Schneider, who has played a whopping 28 games this season, is now 14-9-5 on the year with a .926 save percentage. Considering he plays almost every game and has some of the best rate stats in the NHL, Schneider is an automatic roll every night the Devils are in action.

Schneider put up a stinker in a start this past Thursday, yielding four goals on 25 shots to the Panthers. However, make note of that being just the third team all season that he's allowed more than three scores in a given appearance. As the top goalie for the Devils, he's only been on the schneid three different times this campaign, with his longest losing streak lasting just two games.

When Schneider allowed Jussi Jokinen to open the scoring by beating him cleanly over the shoulder on a first-period power play, it was clear that his night was off to a bad start, and it only got worse from there. Defenseman Dmitry Kulikov beat him cleanly as well, adding to a forgettable night for one of the NHL's better goalies. Schneider's given up four goals three times now this season, and his fantasy owners at least can take solace in the fact that they've never had to deal with him allowing any more than that. He's a good bet to bounce back Saturday against the struggling Anaheim offense.

Schneider has conquered in the crease 14 times this season, putting him on pace for 41 wins and 15 more than his career high from the 2014-15 campaign. Schneider was a brick wall Tuesday, turning away all 25 shot attempts by the Sabres in a 2-0 win.

Surprisingly for a guy who came into Tuesday's action with a 2.17 GAA, Schneider hadn't allowed fewer than two goals in a game since picking up his only other shutout this year back on Nov. 14. Nonetheless, the Devils have done a surprising amount of winning this year, and thus fantasy owners who drafted Schneider for his ratios have been rewarded with all-around production that isn't too far behind that of the league's elite netminders.
