Schneider conceded three goals on 18 shots before being pulled midway through the second period of Sunday's loss to the Islanders.

Schneider entered the contest on a roll, having allowed two or fewer goals in eight of his last nine starts, but he got lit up early and often in this one to the tune of three goals in under 28 minutes. The 29-year-old has been terrific for much of the season though, and the Isles are one of the stronger offensive clubs in the league, so Sunday's outing is likely just a blip on the radar.
