If there is a time when Schneider will be tested though, it would be Friday's contest with Detroit, as the Wings have been scoring in bunches in recent games. In their last five, Detroit has gone 4-0-1 while averaging four goals per game.

Schneider's a rock in net, but the Devils' offense has gone cold lately -- they've lost five of his last seven starts, three of those in overtime. This despite the fact that Schneider allowed two goals in six of those outings. The wins may not come consistently, but Schneider's a boon to fantasy owners' rate stats.

Schneider is Mr. Reliable for the Devils. The American puck stopper has allowed more than three goals in a given start just twice in this 2015-16 campaign, which spans 22 starts. Toronto is currently working with a minus-13 goal differential, so Schneider is appealing in most fantasy league formats Tuesday night.

Schneider stopped 34 of the 36 shots he faced in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Panthers.
