Schneider stopped 25 of 27 shots in Sunday's shootout loss to New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
Although it was a loss, it was a strong bounce-back showing from Schneider, who was burned for 14 goals in his previous three appearances. The former Canuck drops to 9-9-5 on the season with a .906 save percentage. While he had been struggling this month, his impressive effort against the Rangers is a positive sign moving forward. Schneider remains a quality fantasy option and is worth inserting in your lineup whenever he gets the nod.

Schneider will man the net against the Rangers on Sunday, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
The goaltender has been having a rough month, with a .880 save percentage and a 4.00 goals against average in the month of December. His backup, Kieth Kinkaid, has been only marginally better with a .904 and 3.28, so he doesn't seem at risk of losing his job. Going up against the Rangers, who average 3.30 goals per game, won't give him a great chance to break out of his slump.

Schneider struggled again Thursday, giving up four goals on 30 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
The struggles continue. After looking like his typical dominant self early on, Schneider has gone into a tailspin it seems he can't escape. He's now lost three consecutive starts and eight of his last 10, a span in which Schneider has given up a brutal 38 goals. As amazing as the 30-year-old netminder's track record certainly is, you can't trust him in fantasy until he shows distinct signs of turning things around. If you can afford to wait for that, though, you won't likely find a better buy-low window for Schneider.

Schneider will start between the pipes in Thursday's road game against the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Schneider has struggled in the month of December, posting a 1-2-1 record while registering an awful 3.98 GAA and .883 save percentage over four appearances. The veteran netminder will look to get back on track in a decent matchup with a Blues team that has lost three of its last four games.

Schneider was torched for five goals on 31 shots in a 5-0 loss to the Rangers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Typically one of the best goalies in the league, Schneider has been brutal lately, allowing a combined 10 goals in his last two starts and an unfathomable 32 over his last nine. That's a GAA of 3.55 since Nov. 17, so owners that have grown so accustomed to putting up with the 30-year-old's lack of wins have been overwhelmingly let down by his abnormally bad ratios. That said, his trade value is probably close to an all-time low, so it's wise to weather the storm and seek out additional help on the waiver wire while Schneider figures it out.

Schneider will tend the twine in Sunday's matchup with the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The goalie had a rough time against Montreal, the fifth highest-scoring team in the league, in his last time out, allowing five goals on 49 shots. He will face a similar task against top-scoring New York on Sunday, so it's a tough start for him.

Schneider stopped 44 of 49 shots in Thursday's 5-2 loss to Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
He just emerged from his skid of six consecutive starts with sub-.900 save marks by beating Vancouver on Tuesday, only to backslide right away. Schneider saw the Devils give up an uncharacteristically huge number of shots, resulting in his fifth game of four-plus goals in his last 13 outings. Meanwhile, his teammates managed a mere 21 shots; that one's pretty characteristic for New Jersey, actually. Schneider's too good not to resurrect his lagging stats eventually, but the Devils are not playing well as a whole right now.

Schneider will be in goal as Thursday night's road starter against the Canadiens, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
To the benefit of fantasy owners abound, the Devils have named their starting goaltender for the next two games. This latest report notes that Schneider will give way to backup Keith Kinkaid against the Blues on Friday for the second half of the back-to-back set. Still, it's worth considering alternatives to Schneider if you can help it -- he's certainly had his struggles on the road based on the 1-6-3 record, 2.90 GAA and .905 save mark in 10 starts this season.

Schneider stopped 22 of 24 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
Having lost five of his prior six starts and allowing a stunning 22 goals in the process, Schneider desperately needed a soft opponent to get right against, and he got it in the form of the Canucks -- the team that drafted and developed him, then traded him to New Jersey. Unfortunately, things get a lot harder again Thursday, when the Devils travel to Montreal.

Schneider will be the starting goaltender for Tuesday's tilt with Vancouver, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old has been shaky recently, with a 3.63 goals against average and .875 save percentage. Backup Keith Kinkaid has looked better, but Schneider will still be the number one guy. The Canucks are in the bottom third of the NHL in both shots and goals per game, so Schneider might be able to start a rebound and get back on the right track.
