Schneider made 31 saves in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Schneider can't be blamed for this defeat, as his team was out-shot 34-19. He has now lost each of his past four starts despite stopping 98 of 104 shots for a .942 save percentage over the last three. Backup Keith Kinkaid will likely spell him in the second leg of New Jersey's back-to-back Friday in Calgary.

Schneider will guard the posts Thursday against the Oilers, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schneider has been on the short end of the stick these days as he's gone 0-2-1 with a 2.63 GAA and .920 save percentage over his last three starts. He'll look to get back in the win column against a Columbus team that averages 2.81 goals per game, ninth in the NHL.

Schneider saved 26 of 27 shots during Monday's loss to Florida.
EDGE Analysis
While the Panthers scored two empty-net goals to bury the Devils, this was one of Schneider's better games of late. He entered Monday's outing with just 12 wins alongside a discouraging .908 save percentage and 2.78 GAA for the year, which is a steep decline from the .924 save percentage and a 2.14 GAA over he posted through his first three seasons with New Jersey. Until Schneider strings together a few more showing like Monday's, he's best viewed as a mediocre No. 2 goalie for your fantasy club.

Schneider will defend the cage against the Panthers on Monday, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schneider will make his fifth consecutive start after falling in back-to-back outings against Edmonton and Toronto. In his previous two matchups with Florida, the netminder is 0-1-1 and allowed a combined six pucks to find the back of the net. At least this time around, the 30-year-old will be at home where he has performed significantly better this season -- 10-3-2 in New Jersey versus 2-10-4 on the road.

Schneider allowed two goals on 43 shots in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Oilers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
He bounced back from his awful start Friday, but it still wasn't enough, as Edmonton tallied the game-winning goal on the power play in overtime. At even strength, Schneider stopped 37 of the 38 shots he faced. Sure, he yielded three goals on five shots Friday versus Toronto, but Scheider still has a .940 save percentage and 1.82 GAA in his last four games. Those numbers are certainly a site for sore eyes, as Scheider came into Saturday with his worst GAA and save percentage in a season since joining the Devils in 2013-14.

Schneider will start in goal at home against the Oilers on Saturday, Devils play-by-play announcer Matt Loughlin reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schneider was pulled from his start Friday -- upon allowing three goals on five shots to the Maple Leafs -- but rather than set him on the pine, coach John Hynes reportedly will make adjustments on the blue line, namely with the freshly recalled Johann Auvitu bumping Seth Helgeson from the lineup. Schneider will try to get back on track against an Oilers team ranked ninth in the league at 2.83 goals per contest.

Schneider allowed three goals on five shots and was pulled just 14:40 into the first period of Friday's loss to Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't Schneider's night and coughing up the puck to Connor Brown on the power play was particularly weak. After stopping 51 of 52 shots during a two-game winning streak, this was a disappointing outing. Schneider is just 12-13-5 with an underwhelming .905 save percentage and 2.81 GAA, which represents his worst production since the 2010-11 campaign. He's no longer a matchup-proof starter, let alone a mid-tier No. 1 goalie for your virtual team. You're giving Schneider the benefit of the doubt at your own risk until he finds the form he had shown through his first three seasons with New Jersey.

Schneider will start between the pipes in Friday's home game against the Maple Leafs, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schneider has been on a roll of late, posting back-to-back wins while maintaining a superb 0.50 GAA and .981 save percentage over that span. The American goaltender will look to pick up his 13th win of the campaign in a tough matchup with a hot Maple Leafs team that has won five of its last six games.

Schneider turned in his second consecutive strong outing Tuesday, stopping 29 of 30 shots in a 3-1 win over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
After he shut out the Bruins on Monday, the Devils rolled Schneider right back out for the second of back-to-backs instead of turning to Keith Kinkaid, and he rewarded them like we haven't seen in months. Stunningly, Schneider hadn't put up consecutive games with save percentages north of .900 since Nov. 12 and 15. The slump he was mired in from mid-November through the end of December was brutal -- 3-9-3 with a 3.51 GAA and .883 save percentage -- but perhaps turning the page to the new year has somehow helped Schneider find his game. Approach him with caution as the Devils face off against the dangerous Leafs and Oilers on Friday and Saturday, respectively, but it shouldn't take that much to raise your level of optimism about the 30-year-old netminder, considering his track record.

Schneider will start between the pipes in Tuesday's road game against the Hurricanes, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schneider was razor-sharp in his last start, stopping all 22 shots he faced en route to his second shutout of the season and a 3-0 victory over Boston on Monday. The veteran backstop will look to pick up his 12th win of the campaign in a tough road matchup with a Hurricanes team that is 11-3-1 at home this season.
