Preds GM David Poile is hoping for a more "well-rounded" Wilson next season, the Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson led the Preds in this year's postseason with 13 points in 14 games, but had what Poile called a "terrible" regular season with just 24 points in 64 games, a significant regression from his 42-point effort the season before. Starting this fall, fantasy owners will be hoping that Wilson's playoff success will start carrying over to the regular season. For his part, Poile seems optimistic. "Year older, year wiser, more mature. Hopefully [Wilson] relishes the success that we had and he had and he can put most of [his regular season struggles] behind him. I have a really good feeling that he's making that breakthrough. We'll all be there in September watching."

Wilson scored a goal and two assists in a triple-overtime win against San Jose on Thursday, 4-3.
EDGE Analysis
Nashville's line of Wilson, James Neal and Mike Fisher was easily the best line of the night, combining for seven points and accounting for all of Nashville's goals. Wilson is on a five-game points streak that goes back to the previous series, and now has two goals and three assists in his past five games. With the way he's been playing, expect Peter Laviolette to hike up his minutes in a big way.

Wilson lit the lamp, adding a plus-2 rating and four hits in Tuesday's 4-1 victory over the Sharks in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson has surprisingly been a consistent threat for Nashville in the postseason, notching points in eight of 10 outings (four straight) for a total of three tallies and five apples. These playoffs have already proven to be the 26-year-old's most productive of his career (previous high of five points), and the 2008 No. 7 pick continues to be a bargain option at the rate he is producing.

Wilson opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in Wednesday's 2-1 Game 7 victory over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson corralled a bouncing puck in the Anaheim zone and backhanded it past goaltender Frederik Andersen for the crucial first goal. He has stepped his production rate up dramatically with five points in seven playoff games after totaling just 24 in 64 regular season contests, and the Predators will need continued secondary scoring from the 26-year-old if they hope to advance past the Sharks in Round 2.

Wilson lit the lamp and tacked on an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 victory over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson is miles off of last season's 42 points, and even though injuries have played a part in that, the 26-year-old was not expecting to drop down to 24 in 62 appearances. The 2008 first-round pick has just one goal and five helpers since the beginning of March and remains limited in the bottom-six role.

Wilson was held off the scoresheet Saturday against Columbus, the seventh time in the last eight games he has failed to register a point.
EDGE Analysis
After scoring a career-high 42 points in 2014-15, Wilson has taken a major step back this year with just 22 points through 58 games. That said, a lower-body injury that has caused him to miss 17 games has not helped, but he's still been far less than advertised when healthy. Feel free to avoid him for the balance of this season.

Wilson tallied two assists, a hit and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson seems to be slowly getting back into the swing of things after missing 12 games earlier this year with a lower-body injury. He didn't record a point in his first six games back, but now he's registered four in his last five games. We'll have to keep an eye on him to see if he can continue this production, but for now he's at least worth a slight glance in deeper leagues.

Wilson provided an assist in Monday's win over the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson also added a plus-1 rating and skated 16:18 worth of ice time, his highest total since Jan. 5. The 26-year-old didn't record a point in his first six games back since returning from a lower-body injury on Feb. 9, but he now appears to be shaking off the rust and preparing to slot back into more minutes.

Wilson (lower body) was activated from injured reserve, and will return to action Tuesday against the Capitals, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson, who has missed the Predators' last 12 games with a lower-body injury, is expected to slot back into the lineup as a bottom-six forward against Washington. The former first-round pick has tallied 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) in 36 games this season.

Wilson (lower body) hopes to rejoin the lineup Tuesday against the Capitals. "That's the plan right now," said Wilson.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson has been sidelined since early January with the lower-body issue, but he took part in line rushes during morning skate Monday, and appears set to rejoin the lineup Tuesday if everything goes as planned. He slotted in alongside Mike Fisher and Craig Smith on the third line during the rushes, making that his likely spot in the lineup.
