Preds GM David Poile is hoping for a more "well-rounded" Wilson next season, the Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson led the Preds in this year's postseason with 13 points in 14 games, but had what Poile called a "terrible" regular season with just 24 points in 64 games, a significant regression from his 42-point effort the season before. Starting this fall, fantasy owners will be hoping that Wilson's playoff success will start carrying over to the regular season. For his part, Poile seems optimistic. "Year older, year wiser, more mature. Hopefully [Wilson] relishes the success that we had and he had and he can put most of [his regular season struggles] behind him. I have a really good feeling that he's making that breakthrough. We'll all be there in September watching."
