Miller converted a power-play goal in Monday's 6-3 road loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Like the Vegas expansion franchise in general, Miller has been a pleasant surprise. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to two goals and five assists through 10 games, plus he's manufactured a whopping six points on the man advantage. Those numbers likely aren't unsustainable, but then again, the chemistry on this team is unreal and Miller can be used as a decent low-end blueliner in virtual settings.

Miller registered his first point of the season -- a power-play assist -- in a 5-4 overtime win over Buffalo on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Miller has had a pretty quiet start to his Golden Knights career, finally breaking a scoreless drought in his sixth game of the season. Despite not scoring, the 24-year-old blueliner has registered 12 hits and eight shots on goal so far. However, he may play himself off the power-play unit if his name doesn't pop up on the box score more often.

Miller was selected by the Golden Knights on Wednesday in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
There's still a chance that Vegas might flip him in a trade, but for now Miller, who logged six goals and 13 points in 61 games for the Bruins last season, brings an intriguing mix of speed and shooting velocity to the new franchise's blue line mix. Part of the reason that Boston exposed Miller in the expansion draft, despite his upside, is that puck management and positioning remain a work in progress for the the 24-year-old 103 games into his NHL career. Should he earn regular power play time this coming season, Miller could find himself on the fantasy radar, but as is the case with most of the players added by Vegas on Wednesday, the defender's future and role with the organization have yet to be determined.

Joe Haggerty of CSN New England relays that it appears as though the Vegas Golden Knights are poised to announce the selection of Miller in the NHL expansion draft.
EDGE Analysis
This isn't much of a surprise, with Miller or fellow defender Adam McQuaid having seemed like the Golden Knights' most likely targets. That said, Miller may not be Vegas property for long, with reports circulating that he may be moved to another team such as Toronto. While the Bruins would have preferred to retain Miller, given his upside on offense, his expected departure is cushioned by the fact that the Boston organization has several talented young blueliners moving up in the team's system.

Miller was among the Bruins left unprotected for the upcoming NHL Expansion Draft, CSN New England reports.
EDGE Analysis
Given Miller's fleet wheels and hard shot, the 24-year-old has some untapped potential that could be appealing to the Vegas franchise. With that in mind, it's generally expected that the Bruins are most likely to lose either Miller or rugged blueliner Adam McQuaid. In 66 regular season contests this past season, Miller logged six goals and 13 points, to go along with 55 PIM. While the Bruins would no doubt prefer to keep him around, if Vegas opts to roll the dice on Miller's upside, losing him would be something the organization could weather, with promising young defenders like Charlie McAvoy, Jakub Zboril and Jeremy Lauzon coming up through the Boston system.

Miller (lower body) will suit up for Game 4 against the Senators on Wednesday, Joe McDonald of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller has been sidelined since Game 1 in which he logged a mere 7:08 of ice time before getting hurt. The blueliner is not known for his offensive contributions -- one goal and two helpers in his last 16 outings -- but should help stabilize a Bruins' blue line that has been hard hit by injuries. With the 24-year-old good to go, Tommy Cross is the leading candidate to get bumped from the game-day lineup.

Miller (lower body) participated in Tuesday's practice, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports.
EDGE Analysis
Based on that, Miller appears closer to a return to action than either Torey Krug, Brandon Carlo or Adam McQuaid. If Miller is able to suit up for Wednesday night's Game 4 against the Senators, Tommy Cross would presumably be bumped from the Bruins' blue line mix.

Miller (lower body) is a game-time decision for Monday's playoff game against the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
With fellow blueliners Torey Krug, Brandon Carlo and Adam McQuaid all injured and Miller iffy for Monday's tilt, either Tommy Cross or Matt Grzelcyk, who have been summoned from AHL Providence, could draw into the Bruins' lineup Monday.

Miller (lower body) skated Sunday morning but is still considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's Game 3 against the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Miller couldn't lace up the skates for Game 2 against the Senators, leaving the Bruins extremely shorthanded along the blue line with the likes of Torey Krug (lower body) and Brandon Carlo (upper body) also skipping it. If the trio along with Adam McQuaid -- who suffered an upper-body injury in Game 2 -- are all unavailable for the upcoming contest, the Bruins may be forced to dip into the AHL ranks for additional depth. However, Miller seems like he may have a chance to play in the contest.

Miller (lower body) will be out of the lineup Saturday in Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
Miller took a knee-on-knee hit Wednesday against Ottawa that will keep him out of Saturday afternoon's matchup. The continued rest will give the 24-year-old a great chance of starting on Monday. Joe Morrow will replace Miller in the third defensive rotation for the time being.
