Coach Ron Wilson said he expects Clarke MacArthur to be back in the lineup on Friday night in Washington. MacArthur wasn't as certain about his status, so we'll consider him probable for now. He had been expected to miss a couple of games with an injured shoulder and didn't play on Tuesday.

Clarke MacArthur was a late scratch for Tuesday's contest versus New Jersey because of an upper-body injury. "We're hoping it's a game or two, but we will know more (Wednesday)," coach Ron Wilson said referring to MacArthur's status. The Toronto winger has notched nine goals and 12 points in 21 games this season. He is currently listed as day-to-day.

Look for Clarke MacArthur (upper body) to be back in the Toronto lineup Tuesday. He is back on the second line in practice and that allows Matt Frattin to move down to the third unit alongside Joe Colborne and Joey Crabb. MacArthur has six goals and eight points in 15 games this season so put him back in your lineup if you normally would do so.

Clarke MacArthur potted two goals in Toronto's 4-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday night. MacArthur now has six markers and a pair of helpers in ten games this year and is on fire after a slow start to the season. Clarke MacArthur exited Wednesday's game late in the third period with an undisclosed injury.
