Dvorak inked a six-year contract extension with Arizona on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak was entering the final year of his entry-level deal, but has landed an extension that will avoid restricted free agency next offseason. The 22-year-old's young career includes a pair of back-to-back 30-plus point campaigns, in which he has hit the 15-goal mark in both years. If the Illinois native continues to progress, he should be capable of hitting both the 20-goal and 40-point thresholds.

Dvorak (back) is expected to be healthy for next season's training camp, Craig Morgan of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Another one of Arizona's talented crop of youngsters, Dvorak built on an impressive rookie season by scoring another 15 goals and adding 22 assists in 2017-18. While Dvorak's shooting percentage dropped from 17.0% to 9.9%, this shouldn't necessarily be seen as a negative, but rather as an indication that the 22-year-old is becoming more assertive on the ice and creating more of his own chances. Moving forward, Dvorak projects to be a solid No. 2 or above-average No. 3 centerman.

Dvorak (lower body) will miss the season finale against the Ducks on Saturday, Dave Vest of the Coyotes' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
A skilled offensive producer, Dvorak finishes with 15 goals, 22 assists, and a minus-19 rating through 78 games. Hockey pundits and fantasy owners alike have come to expect more from a guy who was drafted by the Coyotes with a second-round (58th overall) pick in 2014, but then again, he's only 22 years old with plenty of time to break out for fantasy owners. Dvorak will be a restricted free agent after the 2018-19 campaign.

Dvorak (lower body) will not travel with the team for their two-game road trip, Craig Morgan of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
That means that if Dvorak returns it will be Saturday against the Ducks for the season finale. However, considering that the Coyotes have nothing to play for, it would seem risky for the 22-year-old to return just for one meaningless game.

Dvorak (lower body) won't be in the lineup against St. Louis on Saturday, Dave Vest of the Coyotes' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will mark the first game that Dvorak's missed in 2017-18, and although his iron man streak is over, he's still racked up 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists) in 78 games throughout his campaign, surpassing his total of 33 from last season. Dvorak's next opportunity to return will be Tuesday against Calgary, and his injury should still be considered day-to-day.

Dvorak is "banged up" and will be a game-time call for Saturday's tilt against the Blues, Craig Morgan of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak skipped morning skate because of the issue, though it didn't appear to limit him Thursday against the Kings. Official word on his availability should arrive during pregame warmups, but look for Freddie Hamilton or Josh Archibald to replace him in the lineup if he's ultimately unable to dress.

Dvorak tallied an assist and fired one shot on goal in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak has had a solid sophomore campaign, totaling 15 goals and 37 points in 78 contests, but he's still a fringe fantasy player in most season-long formats at this stage in his career. The 22-year-old winger will look to take another step forward in his development with the Coyotes in 2018-19.

Dvorak scored his 10th goal of the season in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't the prettiest goal he'll ever score -- Oliver Ekman-Larsson's point shot deflected off Dvorak and trickled over the goal line -- but the 22-year-old still reached double digits in goals for the second straight season all the same. He's well on pace to top the 33 points he accumulated in 2016-17, and with the young Coyotes beginning to show signs of life, Dvorak could put together a solid finish to the campaign.

Dvorak potted a power-play goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak now has eight goals on 90 shots in this campaign, as his luck has normalized after an unsustainable 15 goals on just 88 shots as a rookie last season. Only four of his 23 career tallies have come with the extra man, but the 2014 second-rounder would increase his dynasty league prospects greatly if he can start cashing in more consistently on the power play, especially with Dvorak's rating likely to remain a hindrance as long as he's playing in Arizona.

Dvorak scored two goals on five shots in a 5-2 victory over the Blues on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
In his second season, Dvorak has left more to be desired. He came into the night with only five goals and a minus-21 rating, which are far behind the totals from his rookie season. But the good news is Dvorak may be beginning to heat up. After only one point in 11 games, he has two goals and six points in the last six contests. And he's only two assists shy of his total from last season. That should give owners hope that he can salvage 2017-18 during the second half.
