Brayden Schenn leads the Flyers with 12 points this season. Schenn also is a physical player as he has 49 hits which is 42nd overall in the NHL heading into action on Sunday. He is in his third NHL season, usually a breakout year for most high draft picks as they need a couple of seasons to get used to the pace of the NHL. "I'm getting more physical and maybe a little more involved, and when I do that, it gets me in the game more," Schenn said. "And I'm finding a little chemistry with my linemates." Schenn usually plays with Vincent Lecavalier and Wayne Simmonds. Pick up Schenn if he is still available in your pool.

Brayden Schenn getting much more physical during the last two weeks. As more and more fantasy leagues are transitioning to the use of hits as a fantasy category, one player to really keep a keen eye on is Schenn. He started the 2013-14 season with 20 hits during his first 11 contests (1.82 hits per game), but has dramatically increased that to 27 in 17 games (3.86 per game) during the last two weeks. Over that span, he sits behind only Matt Martin and Radko Gudas in the league in that department. Given the fact that he also has operated at a point-per-game pace over the last two weeks, while appearing in just under 40 percent of the Flyers' power-play chances, he's a great potential snag off the waiver wire to enhance your fantasy squad.

Brayden Schenn scored a pair of goals for the Flyers in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh. Schenn has gotten off to a slow start, but seems to be getting things going with five points in his last three games. Wayne Simmonds, Steve Downie and Jakub Voracek picked up assists in the victory.

Brayden Schenn notched the only goal in the game as the Flyers defeated the Devils 1-0 on Saturday night. Schenn has three goals and four assists on the season, to go with 20 penalty minutes. His minus-four rating doesn't look that bad, either, in the face of the Flyers' struggles. With only 25 shots in 13 games, we would like to see him start getting more shots on net, though. Wayne Simmonds and Andrej Meszaros had the assists.

Brayden Schenn played center for the first time this season on Saturday. Schenn centered Wayne Simmonds and newcomer Michael Raffl and led the team with seven shots on goal picking up a goal and a plus-one rating in the 5-2 loss to Detroit. Schenn has two goals and four points for the offensively challenged Flyers who have scored only eight goals in six games thus far.

It might not carry over beyond Friday, but Scott Hartnell's injury reportedly opened the door for Brayden Schenn to get some reps on the Philadelphia Flyers' first line. For all the struggles Claude Giroux & Co. have had, that's still a plum gig, especially if Schenn can land it long-term in a contract year. Schenn hasn't really lived up to the hype as a first-rounder, but this is the kind of nod that could help. It looks like Matt Read gets a better role, too.

Brayden Schenn scored his second goal of the season in Philadelphia's 2-1 home win against Florida. New Head Coach Craig Berube jumbled the Flyers' lines Tuesday night, playing Schenn on the second line with Jakub Voracek and Vincent Lecavalier. The experiment seemed to work as each recorded a point and the Flyers won their first game of the season.

Brayden Schenn got a shot on the Philadelphia Flyers' top line on Wednesday. Schenn went on to have an eventful game by scoring a goal and getting into a fight in the Flyers' 3-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. "Yeah, I feel good [on that line]," Schenn said. "Obviously, when you get a chance with Claude Giroux and Scott Hartnell, you want to make the most of it. Both those guys, Hartsy obviously goes real hard and G's real nifty with the puck. So, just try to get open and make the most of every opportunity you get there." Schenn has a lot of potential and could breakout this season if he consistently plays on one of the Flyers' top two lines.

Brayden Schenn scored the lone goal for Philadelphia in a 3-1 loss to the Maple Leafs Wednesday night. Schenn's power play goal opened the scoring in the game and could be a sign of things to come for the youngster, who is now receiving a good amount of time with the man advantage. Vincent Lecavalier and Mark Streit drew assists on Schenn's goal.

Philadelphia Flyers forward Brayden Schenn told CSNPhilly.com that he isn't worried about his performance in a contract year. "I kind of figured [my contract status] would come up sometime soon," Schenn said. "But for me, I'm just going to go out there and worry about the season, not worry about the extension or the contract situation - just focus on my game, focus on the team, and not worry about contract talks." He'll be a restricted free agent this summer.
