Point had a goal and two assists in Thursday's 5-4 win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
The goal came when he got his own rebound in the slot and fired it past Jimmy Howard. It was Point's first multipoint game in 10 -- he'd been scuffling through a nine-game, five-point period. But Point remains within the league's top-10 scorers with 86 points in 69 games. And he's in a three-way tie with Alex DeBrincat and Cam Atkinson for fifth in goals with 38. Then again, he's the Bolts' best sniper and every goal and point keep increasing the value of the next contract the impending RFA inks with the team.

Point scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Point was planted in the slot when he received a pass from Nikita Kucherov and rocketed it past Connor Hellebuyck for insurance in the third period. The 22-year-old continues to dominate the stat sheet with 37 goals and 81 points in 65 games. He'll get paid like a star this summer, too, when he hits restricted free agency.

Point lit the lamp in Monday's shootout win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Point wasted no time getting on the scoreboard with a power-play goal just 1:05 into the game. He was stopped by Jack Campbell in the shootout, but Nikita Kucherov and Victor Hedman helped seal the win. The 22-year-old now has 36 goals and 79 points through 61 contests, giving him a legitimate chance to crack 100.

Point (coach's decision) played 20:40 in Thursday's 2-1 shootout win over Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Point had been a game-time decision because of discipline issues -- he missed a team meeting. The threat of benching inspired the young pivot. Point got into a dustup with Jeff Skinner in the third period, landing a number of solid uppercuts to Skinner's head as the two tussled. It wasn't much of a fight -- it ended in a wrestling match on the ice. But the two were barking at each other between the penalty boxes after. As much as it was entertaining, we're certain that everyone held their breath as a 35-goal, 78-point emerging star risked injury as he hit Skinner's helmet. Thankfully, there are no issues as a result. Let's hope he can channel that intensity to bulging twine rather than pounding chins.

Point (coach's decision) will return to the lineup for Thursday's game against the Sabres, Paul Kennedy of Fox Sun Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis

Point will not play Tuesday against the Flyers after missing a team meeting, Caley Chelios of FOX Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is surprising news, and a huge hit to fantasy owners. The 22-year-old is one of the top scorers in the NHL, as he has 35 goals and 78 points in 59 games. One assumes this will be a one-game punishment, but obviously you will want to make sure everything is cool before Thursday's game with the Sabres.

Point registered two goals -- including a power-play tally -- to complement another man-advantage assist in Monday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Interestingly enough, only three other Lightning forwards hit the scoresheet in this one. All of Point's production was tied into a two-goal, three-assist effort from Nikita Kucherov. Sniping to the tune of a 23.3 shooting percentage, Point leads all NHLers in that category among players who have at least logged 50 games this season, plus he's tied with tied with sixth others for 16th in assists at 43 apiece.

Point delivered two assists in Thursday's 6-0 victory over Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
The points stretched his scoring streak to four games and eight points (two goals, six assists). Point's ascension to the league's elite has been swift. This is his just his third season and he already seventh in NHL scoring with 74 points. And Point is in a three-way tie for fourth in goals with 33. He's an outstanding play in salary leagues because he's doing this on the last year of his entry-level deal (cap hit $650,000). The Bolts must be hoping and praying he'll ink a bridge deal like Nikita Kucherov before him.

Point scored a power-play goal and added two assists in a 6-3 win over the Flames on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
One of Point's assists also came on a power-play goal by center Steven Stamkos. Point leads the NHL in power-play tallies with 16, and has 33 goals and 72 points in 56 games. The third round pick from 2014 has his first 70 point season and should continue to produce at elite levels alongside right wing Nikita Kucherov, who had four points in Tuesday's game.
