Dubinsky scored the Blue Jackets' only goal in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
He'd gone 10 games without a goal, last lighting the lamp on Nov. 5 against the Kings. Dubinsky now has five goals and 14 points in 25 games, and the Jackets will need more production out of him if they're going to make any kind of playoff push later in the season.

Dubinsky received a one-game suspension Saturday for cross-checking Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby in Friday's tilt against the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky has never been suspended before, but Saturday's ruling doesn't come as a huge surprise, as the 29-year-old forward has a long history of altercations with Crosby, which makes Friday's incident appear more malicious than it probably would have otherwise. Dubinsky will miss Saturday's tilt against the Blues, but will be eligible to return to action Tuesday against Montreal.

Dubinsky will have a hearing with the league's player safety department following a cross-check to the back of Sidney Crosby's neck during Friday's 2-1 win over the Penguins, the Columbus Dispatch reports. "I'm not thinking about it too much. We'll see," Dubinsky said after the game about the hit. "They'll make their judgment call, decide if they want to give me a call. I'm not out there to injury anybody. I'm not out there to hurt him. I think I play the game the right way and play it hard. I think the stick rode up a little bit, but it wasn't malicious or vicious or too hard in my opinion."
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky has never been suspended before, but given his long history of clashes with Crosby and the fact that he broke his stick on the play, his string of good fortune seems likely to come to an end. The Jackets' next game comes Saturday in St. Louis, but it's more likely that any suspension would be levied beginning with Tuesday's game in Montreal.

Dubinsky (elbow) was activated from injured reserve by the Blue Jackets Tuesday, Shawn Mitchell of the Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky will be active for the Blue Jackets' contest on Wednesday against the Devils but he likely is not back at 100 percent yet. The sooner he can get back for Columbus the better as he is one of their top six forwards when healthy.

Dubinsky (elbow) declared himself doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Devils, even though he will travel with the team to New Jersey, Shawn Mitchell of The Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky suffered a cut to his elbow that became infected and he's hovering around the final week of an original 2-to-3 week timetable for his return. He was able to practice Monday, which is an encouraging sign as he continues to recover from the elbow issue.

Dubinsky (elbow) returned to practice Monday, Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky still has about a week to go from his initial timetable of 2-to-3 weeks, and has already been ruled out this Wednesday, but it's still an encouraging development. There's no set date for a return as of now, but he figures to continue skating in the meantime.

Dubinsky's elbow injury is described as complications stemming from a cut he received last week, the Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The cut became infected and his elbow swelled up just prior to Friday's game against the Penguins, forcing him out of the lineup and to injured reserve. Dubinsky will be given plenty of time to take care of the infection, and while a two-week absence would see him return Nov. 28 in St. Louis, a home game on Dec. 4 against the Panthers might be a more realistic date for him to rejoin the lineup.

Dubinsky has landed on injured reserve with an elbow injury and will miss 2-to-3 weeks, per Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella.
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky was surprisingly scratched from Friday's game against the Penguins with an upper-body injury and apparently it's more specifically an elbow malady. It's not clear how Dubinsky sustained the injury, and we're not sure whether it concerns his right or left elbow, but at any rate, this is a tough blow for a Blue Jackets team struggling to climb out of the cellar of the Eastern Conference. Nick Foligno could see an uptick in minutes while Dubinsky is away from game ice.

Dubinsky (upper body) won't play Friday against the Penguins, Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The news comes as a bit of a surprise, as there was no indication Dubinsky was dealing with an upper-body ailment until he did not take the ice for pregame warmups ahead of Friday's tilt against Pittsburgh. Nick Foligno is expected to center Brandon Saad and Scott Hartnell on the Blue Jackets' second line in Dubinsky's absence.

Dubinsky scored a goal and assisted on Cam Atkinson's power-play goal in the first period of Thursday's 3-2 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky isn't exactly known for putting up a ton of points, but so far he's been producing at a solid clip this season. He has four goals and six assists in 14 games, Columbus' most consistent scorer behind Scott Hartnell. Dubinsky is getting plenty of playing time to keep this pace up if the Jackets catch their stride.
