As one of the team's top offensive talents, the Blue Jackets will be counting on Dubinsky to help them climb out of the basement in the Eastern Conference. He's been on fire lately, racking up eight points in his last five games, and now has 12 goals and 22 assists in just 45 games on the year.

Dubinsky set up three goals in Saturday's 5-3 win over Pittsburgh. Dubinsky -- like Blue Jackets as a whole, who have won eight straight games -- has gotten hot recently, putting up six points over a four-game point streak. The poor guy has only suited up for 43 contests due to various injuries this season, but he's been his typically multi-categorical-contributing self when in the lineup -- as evidenced by the 31 points, plus-10 rating, 94 SOG and 39 PIM.

Dubinsky put the puck in the net Thursday, contributing to a 4-3 SO win over the Islanders. The Blue Jackets are winners of eight straight games, with Dubinsky accounting for three goals and three assists over that span. On Saturday, B-Dub will see the Penguins for a home tilt, and it's a fine matchup given that he has a plus-2 rating and a pair of points against them in 2014-15.

Dubinsky (upper body) was present for the Blue Jackets' morning skate and looks to be back in the lineup for Friday's game against the Blackhawks. Dubinsky returned to practice Thursday without incident, and after missing the team's last four games, he appears set to play again. The forward skated on the second line with Artem Anisimov and Nick Foligno during the Blue Jackets' morning skate session. A variety of injuries have limited Dubinsky to just 38 games this season, but he's been reasonably productive when healthy, tallying nine goals and 25 points.
