Boone Jenner scored a goal in the Blues Jackets' 4-2 win against Dallas Tuesday night.
Jenner was held off the scoresheet in Columbus' first three games after the Olympic break. He's got a lot of potential, but he's not worth owning in standard leagues this season. He has 11 goals and 19 points in 52 games.

Boone Jenner had a goal and an assist in the Blue Jackets 4-1 win Saturday.
Columbus upended the lowly Florida Panthers behind the top line of Jenner, Ryan Johansen and Nathan Horton as they combined for six points. The line scored both goals in the first period, giving Jenner nine goals and 16 points this season in 45 games. He is worth owning as long as he remains on the top line.

Boone Jenner got into his first fight in a regular season game after delivering a shoulder check that knocked Washington's Mike Green out of Thursday's contest.
Jenner knocked Green off balance during a race to the end boards to the puck and then hit Green again as they reached the boards. Although Jenner's shoulder appeared to make contact principally with Green's shoulder, it also looked like Green's head hit the boards. Either way, Washington's Troy Brouwer dropped his gloves in defense of his teammate.

Rookie left wing Boone Jenner has two goals and two assists during the Blue Jackets' eight-game winning streak, but it's not just the points that have impressed coach Todd Richards.
Two games ago, he delivered nine hits. Last game, he had four penalties -- which not only makes him a good fantasy player to have but a dude Richards likes coaching. "I'm not sure what he's going to be like when he's 26 or 27 years old, when he hits his prime," Richards said. "But I don't know if there are too many guys who are going to want to play against him when he's that old. You watch him play as a young kid against these guys now, and they struggle to play against him. He's so strong. He's tenacious. Those are great qualities to have." In 40 games, he has eight goals, five assists and a plus-4 rating. Three of his goals have been game-winners.

Boone Jenner netted two goals in the Blue Jackets' 6-3 win over the Jets on Saturday night.
The 20-year-old rookie has now scored in two straight games. Even though he has just eight goals and 12 points on the season, Jenner is a very talented player who has the ability to become a big-time player in time. His ice time is being capped a bit right now; he played 12:48 Saturday. Mark Letestu also scored twice, while Nick Foligno and Cam Atkinson also potted goals for Columbus. James Wisniewski and Derek MacKenzie each had two helpers apiece.

Boone Jenner was back at his natural center position on Saturday for the first time this season.
Jenner replaced the suspended Derek MacKenzie at the spot and was minus-one as he won only four of 10 draws. MacKenzie still has another couple of games to serve so Jenner could get another shot in the middle. He has five goals and nine points with 24 penalty minutes in 32 games.

Boone Jenner scored for the first time since October 17 on Friday.
Jenner had a couple of power play goals against Montreal in October and Friday night's goal was only his third of the season. Jenner is a solid two-way player but his fantasy value is not much at this time.

Since Marian Gaborik's been sidelined with a knee injury, Boone Jenner has seen a spike in responsibility in his absence.
Prior to Gabby's injury, Jenner was averaging just 13:08 per contest with barely any power play ice-time (29 seconds per game). Since Nov. 15th, Jenner has seen his ice-time creep up to 17:59 per game with a big boost of responsibility on the man advantage as he's garnering 2:48 per contest. The point production hasn't been there yet as he's posted zero points during the last four contests, but Jenner could be worth keeping an eye on as he's receiving the necessary ice-time to make him fantasy worthy down the track.

Jackets rookie Boone Jenner returned to the Blue Jackets' lineup Sunday in Ottawa after missing the previous nine games because of a leg injury.
He skated on the top line with Brandon Dubinsky and Cam Atkinson and was credited with six hits in 16:46 of ice time, 2:46 of it on the power play.

Look for Boone Jenner (leg) to return to the Columbus lineup on Sunday.
The Blue Jackets play a matinee game at 1pm ET against the Ottawa Senators and Jenner could line up as a top-six forward after missing nine games with the leg injury. He has two goals this season in 10 games with both coming on the power play and is certainly worth looking at in deep pools as he is feisty and will pick up penalty minutes.
