Boone Jenner got into his first fight in a regular season game after delivering a shoulder check that knocked Washington's Mike Green out of Thursday's contest. Jenner knocked Green off balance during a race to the end boards to the puck and then hit Green again as they reached the boards. Although Jenner's shoulder appeared to make contact principally with Green's shoulder, it also looked like Green's head hit the boards. Either way, Washington's Troy Brouwer dropped his gloves in defense of his teammate.
