Bishop sports a lifetime 2.18 GAA at Amalie Arena in Tampa, and he's enjoyed plenty of success against the Red Wings over 14 career games, including a 9-4-0 record and .935 save mark. However, the Red Wings may have a collective chip on their shoulder after getting ousted by the Bolts in the conference quarterfinals of the playoffs last season.

Bishop will start in the blue paint Saturday, facing the Predators on home ice.

Bishop isn't expected to go the distance in this final preseason tune-up, which means we'll see backup Andrei Vasilevskiy as well. In his only other exhibition appearance, Bishop stopped 22 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Predators. This is likely the 29-year-old's final season with the Bolts, as he'll be an unrestricted free agent next summer. Plus, Vasilevskiy is close to being ready for a full-time role and is affordable at $3.5 million per season, especially compared to Bishop and his $5.95 million price tag.
