Bishop needed to make just 14 saves to earn his first shutout of the season during Friday's 5-0 win over the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
There has been little game-to-game consistency from Bishop through his first 13 starts, but with a 7-4 record, .915 save percentage and 2.48 GAA, his numbers have been serviceable in the majority of fantasy settings. The Stars are playing better team defense to start 2017-18, so Bishop is in position to continue being a strong asset. Additionally, there's a chance he's undervalued in some circles, so tabling buy-low offers could pay off.

Bishop will be in goal against the Islanders on Friday, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the exception of his matchup with Vancouver on Oct. 30, Bishop has really struggled of late, as he has posted a 1-3-0 record in his previous five outings. In those contests, the netminder logged an abysmal 3.64 GAA and .887 save percentage. While it may have seemed ridiculous to suggest at the onset of the season, the 30-year-old could suddenly find himself ceding starts to Kari Lehtonen -- who has given up just one goal in each of his last three appearances -- if he can't figure his game out soon.

Bishop saved 22 of 25 shots during Monday's 4-1 loss to Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop also lost his previous outing to the Jets, and he's now allowed three goals or more in six of his last seven appearances for a disappointing .892 save percentage and 3.60 GAA. Those are concerning marks because Dallas has been far from a defensive juggernaut over the past few seasons. Additionally, backup Kari Lehtonen sports serviceable .914 and 2.40 marks. It's far too early to abandon ship, though, as the Stars have made a long-term commitment to Bishop. He'll likely draw in again for a home start against the Islanders on Friday.

Bishop will man the crease against Winnipeg on Monday, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
In his last appearance, Bishop allowed four goals to Winnipeg while making just 22 saves in what was arguably his worst performance as a Star to date. On the season, the 6-foot-7 netminder has accumulated a 2.66 GAA and a .913 save percentage with a 6-3-0 record. Bishop is also still looking for his first shutout of the year, and getting it against the Jets Monday would be great revenge after the last tilt.

Bishop gave up four goals on 26 shots in Thursday's loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
It's been up-and-down for Bishop lately, as he's seen his save percentage drop to .913 on the season. The Stars' defense is lacking, but Bishop is locked into the starting gig and should pick up plenty of victories this season. After a 38-save win against Vancouver on Monday, Bishop had no answer for a Jets' team that is catching steam. Look for the veteran goaltender to bounce back, as he's followed some poor showings with some strong ones this year.

Bishop will look to stymie the Jets as Thursday's road starter, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
On paper, this appears to be an even-keeled matchup for Bishop, as the Jets are tied with the Stars in the Central Division standings at 14 points apiece, and both have won their last two games. The American netminder is off to a pretty good start with his new club, having recorded a 6-2-0 record, 2.51 GAA and .920 save percentage. Side note: don't be fooled by that inflated GAA since scoring across the league is at its highest rate in 12 years.

Bishop made 38 saves on 39 shots in a 2-1 overtime win against the Canucks on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop had struggled in his two previous outings, so Dallas will be happy to see him return to form. On the season Bishop has a 2.51 GAA and a .920 save percentage, a major improvement over anything the Stars had last season.

Bishop will defend the crease for Monday night's road game against the Canucks, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After winning four starts in a row, Bishop has fallen into a miniature slump of late, allowing eight goals on 52 shots in his last two outings, which included being pulled from Tuesday's loss to the Avalanche. The veteran keeper will have to turn it around against a hot Vancouver squad that has scored 15 goals on its way to four consecutive wins.

Bishop allowed five goals on 35 shots in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Esa Lindell's power-play goal gave Dallas a 4-3 lead with under 10 minutes to play, but Bishop was beaten by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins less than two minutes later before giving up a Matthew Benning game-winner with 2:27 to play. This type of performance from Edmonton's explosive offense was never out of the question even though the Oilers came in averaging just 2.22 goals per game. Bishop's now surrendered 15 goals in his past four games after allowing just seven in his first five starts combined.

Bishop will start Thursday's contest in Edmonton, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
In what has developed into something of mini controversy, Bishop was yanked from Tuesday's loss to Colorado and wasn't shy about voicing his displeasure with the decision. Bishop is a fiery guy who'll feel he has something to prove Thursday when he takes on an Oilers squad that's scored just four goals over its last three games.
