Bishop will start at home against the Flames on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop's overall numbers aren't great (2.69 GAA, .908 save percentage) but he's been even worse recently. In his last 13 games he's posted a 3.15 GAA and a .895 save percentage.

Bishop stopped 29 of 32 shots in Wednesday's loss to the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop played well despite the loss, as the Stars simply couldn't get a puck past opposing netminder Jonathan Bernier. The 31-year-old had been excellent in his previous two outings and is now 9-7-0 on the season with a .908 save percentage. He's locked into the starting role and playing very well recently, so Bishop is worth getting into your lineup. The former Lightning netminder has been up-and-down this year, but this recent stretch is certainly a good sign moving forward. If he can find some consistency, Bishop still could become a valuable fantasy option this season.

Bishop will be the road starter Wednesday against the Avalanche, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a tough ask of Bishop, who started Tuesday night as well. However, since Kari Lehtonen is out for personal reasons, the Stars were pushed into giving Bishop back-to-back starts. He's played well in his last two starts, but he has a .908 save percentage on the season.

Bishop saved 29 of 30 shots during Tuesday's 3-1 win over Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop blanked Edmonton through 39 minutes in relief Saturday, so this was an encouraging follow up. Still, he sports a mediocre .908 save percentage and 2.67 GAA for the campaign. Considering Dallas entered Tuesday's game allowing the third fewest high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes at five-on-five in the league, it's a little surprising Bishop's ratios aren't better. It's not out of the question to be selective with his matchups until he shows better game-to-game consistency against tougher opponents.

Bishop will get the starting nod versus Montreal on Tuesday, Mike Heika of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kari Lehtonen attending to a personal matter, Bishop could get the second start of the Stars' back-to-back against the Avalanche on Wednesday as well. After two consecutive poor outings by the netminder in which he gave up a combined 11 goals, he bounced back with a shutout relief appearance Saturday and will look to carry that momentum forward.

Bishop was pressed into relief Saturday after a wobbly start by Kari Lehtonen and earned the win on the back of 39 shutout minutes. He made 18 saves.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop entered the game down 3-2 and made some sharp saves to give his mates a chance to dig themselves out of a hole. He had been given the day off after a wobbly start Thursday against the Bolts, so let's hope this game sharpens Bishop's focus going forward.

Bishop allowed six goals on just 28 shots during Thursday's 6-1 loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Tampa Bay entered averaging the most goals per 60 minutes (3.95) in the league, so this was a daunting matchup for Bishop. However, it's further discouraging that he's now surrendered 11 goals through his past two starts. Still, Dallas has shown considerable improvement defensively this season and allowed the fifth fewest high-danger scoring chances (9.93) in the league, so downgrading Bishop is probably premature. It's not out of the question to be selective with his matchups moving forward, though.

Bishop will get the starting nod for Thursday's clash with the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop will make his first trip back to Tampa Bay after being traded away last year. In his three seasons as the Lightning starter, the netminder racked up an impressive 112 wins. Unfortunately for the 30-year-old, he will be facing the league's most potent offense (3.89 goals per game), which could make his return to Amalie Arena less than enjoyable.

Bishop saved just 23 of 28 shots during Monday's 5-1 loss to Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
This was a disappointing showing from the veteran backstop, and especially after posting a shutout over the Islanders in his previous start. Additionally, it further affirmed Bishop's game-to-game inconsistency to start the campaign, as he's now allowed three goals or more in six of his past eight outings. His .907 save percentage and 2.67 GAA are mediocre ratios, and while it's unlikely Kari Lehtonen cuts into Bishop's playing time too much, the Dallas backup could make a case for an uptick in starts with a strong showing Tuesday against Florida.

Bishop will man the crease for Monday's matchup against Carolina, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Bishop's first season as a Star hasn't necessarily gone to plan, he was stellar in his last start, a 5-0 win over the Islanders on Friday. However, that was just the second occasion in Bishop's past eight appearances that he allowed fewer than three goals. Bishop's opponent Monday, the Hurricanes, sit 23rd in league goal scoring, so they could make for a good candidate for Bishop to build upon his strong performance against.
