On Tuesday, Niemi relieved a struggling Kari Lehtonen and picked up a win against the Hurricanes without having to face any shots. However, the workload obviously will be a lot heavier Friday, as he will start this time and square off against a Flyers team that is 6-3-1 over the past 10 games.

While the former Shark owns a mediocre .909 save percentage, his 11-4-2 record shows he knows how to win and he can be counted on by fantasy goers to deliver victories on a loaded Stars team. He's a reliable start whenever Dallas gives him the call.

Niemi stopped 29 of the 32 shots he faced in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Flames.
