Cogliano collected two helpers in Monday's win over the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Cogliano was part of a trio (along with Shawn Horcoff and Carl Hagelin) that combined for seven points on Monday night. The newly formed line was easily Anaheim's most effective in the game, creating numerous scoring chances and leading the team to victory. While Cogliano is technically on the third line, he could be worth a pickup in deeper leagues if he can start to score with a little more consistency.

Cogliano scored his first goal of the season in Sunday's win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
In the absence of team captain Ryan Getzlaf, some line juggling has landed Cogliano on the second line with Shawn Horcoff and Jakob Silfverberg. Cogliano should continue to see regular even strength time with the occasional power play shift, but until he gets more consistent opportunities to put up points, he should be left on your bench.

Cogliano has a single assist to go along with a minus-3 rating after five games this campaign.
EDGE Analysis
After a strong postseason, Cogliano has struggled to approach that same level of play in 2015-16. While the entire Ducks offense has been anemic in the early goings of the season, scoring a league worst five goals, Cogliano has recorded only four shots on goal. As the Ducks' play improves, Cogliano's may follow, but use caution after such a disappointing start.

Cogliano led the Ducks with five shot attempts and also picked up an assist in Sunday's Game 1 win over the Blackhawks. Cogliano's bottom-six role hasn't inhibited his offense, at least over the Ducks' last three games. The winger has collected a goal and assist while putting up 13 shots during that span, providing ample secondary scoring behind the top-line stars.

Cogliano assisted on three Ducks goals Monday in their 5-4 overtime win in Game 3 of their first round series against the Jets. Cogliano factored in on both Ryan Kesler's tying goal late in the third, and Rickard Rakell's winner early in the first overtime. The points are Cogliano's first of the post-season and vault him into a tie for fourth in playoff scoring for the Ducks.

Cogliano tallied his first career penalty shot goal Wednesday against the Oilers. Cogliano also assisted on Simon Despres' first goal as a Duck earlier in the game, giving him 15 goals and 13 assists on the season. Cogliano's scoring has become a little more consistent in the past few weeks, making him worth a look in deeper formats.

Cogliano netted his 14th of the season Saturday against the Islanders. That's Cogliano's second goal in three games, a tad unusual for the depth forward. The recent run of goals is nice, but don't expect the fourth liner to continue potting them at this pace.

Cogliano tallied Tuesday night for his 13th goal of the season. Cogliano showed a flash of his wonderful speed as he beat two skaters out wide and flicked a backhand past Columbus goalie Sergei Bobrovsky. With only 25 points on the year, hopefully Cogliano can use some of that quickness to hit the scoresheet more often for fantasy owners.

Cogliano recorded an assist Wednesday against the Kings. The point is his first in seven games, bringing his total to 24 this season. Given Cogliano's sparse scoring and limited ice time this season, leave him on your bench or on the waiver wire whenever possible.

Cogliano recorded two goals in Tuesday's win over the Coyotes. Although one was into an empty net with the Coyotes searching for an equalizer, a two goal performance is certainly nothing to scoff at. Unfortunately for Cogliano, his fantasy value is fairly limited due to his predominant use as a depth forward in the Ducks' lineup.
