Steen lit the lamp and added a helper against the Canucks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Steen now has a four game point streak going on, which is extra impressive considering he's only played in five games. In three of those games, he had a goal and an assist, so the early returns on him are very good.

Steen scored late in the third period and added an assist on the power play in Thursday's win against the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Steen has a nice three-game point streak going and has two goals and five points in four games this season. He saw shifts on a line with Paul Stastny and Troy Brouwer, as the three combined for six points in the game. Steen finished second on the team in scoring with 64 points last season and has gotten off to a quick start this year.

Steen netted his first goal of the season and added an assist in Saturdays loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
An impressive showing from Steen, who also fired five shots on goal in 20:26 of ice time. Steen has put up back-to-back 60-plus point campaigns, and skating on the top line with Vladimir Tarasenko, there's no reason he can't get there again this season. Health is always an issue with the 31-year-old, but when he's healthy, he's one of the more steady and reliable point producers around.

Steen picked up an assist on the power play Friday in a 4-1 loss to the Wild. He took four shots and added two hits and a blocked shot in the contest.
Steen has four points and 13 shots in the series despite being held off the score sheet in the previous two games. It's tough to say the Blues are down three games to two because of anything Steen has or hasn't done, but facing elimination they need even more from their second-leading regular season scorer.

Steen picked up two assists Saturday in a crucial 4-1 win over Minnesota in Game 2 of the series. He was plus-2 with two shots and two blocked shots.
Steen combined with Vladimir Tarasenko on two first period goals that put the Blues ahead early and they held on throughout the game. Steen has points in three straight games against Minnesota, going back to the regular season finale, totalling five points. Steen and Tarasenko should lineup with Jori Lehtera again in Game 3 on Monday in Minnesota.

Steen scored short-handed late in Thursday's Game 1 loss to the Wild, but the Blues ultimately fell 4-2. He was minus-1 with just the lone shot on goal and a hit in the contest.
The loss will no doubt make Blues fans a little jittery as the club was contained by Minnesota and only managed 21 shots on net, including just one shot from the line of Steen, Vladimir Tarasenko, and Jori Lehtera. Steen and his teammates are too talented to be held down for long, however, and should turn things around starting with Game 2 on Saturday.

Steen (lower body) returned to action Saturday and delivered two assists in a win over the Wild. He finished the regular season with 24 goals and 40 assists in 74 games -- those 64 points are a new career mark.
It's nice to get him back in uniform before the playoffs. The Blues will need him if they hope to improve on their past performances.

Steen (lower body) will return to the lineup Saturday against the Wild, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
The Blues will welcome their top two scorers in Vladimir Tarasenko (71 points) and Steen (62) back in the lineup as the team looks to solidify the best record in the Western Conference with a win Saturday. Steen, who has missed the last six games with the injury, was able to complete Friday's optional practice without incident, so it looks like he could be on tap for his regular role in the Blues' top-six ranks. Saturday's game should be enough for Steen to seamlessly reintegrate himself with his linemates ahead of the playoffs.

Steen (lower body) got in a skate Thursday morning, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.
Steen has reportedly skated separately from the team on a couple previous occasions, but Thursday marked the first time he had worked out in front of the media. It's still not apparent when Steen may resume practicing in full with the team, so don't count on him to suit up in the Blues' season finale Saturday against the Wild.

Steen (lower body) will miss Thursday's game against the Blackhawks, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.
Steen was absent for Wednesday's optional practice, which made it easy for coach Ken Hitchcock to quickly rule out the forward for a sixth straight contest. His chances of playing in the Blues' season finale Saturday against the Wild appear slim at this point, so the team could be turning its sights to having him available for the start of the playoffs.
