Killorn has filed for arbitration, reports the Tampa Bay Times.

With star forward Steven Stamkos (blood clot) still sidelined, look for guys like "Killer" and Jonathan Drouin, who also has 12 points, to continue to provide that classic depth-scoring that's essentially a requirement for teams to earn the privilege to drink from Lord Stanley's mug.

Killorn had two assists -- including one on the power play -- during Tuesday's Game 3 5-4 overtime win against the Islanders.

The 26-year-old had a very productive game, recording three shots on goal, two blocks, two hits, and two PIM. It was the third straight game in which he registered at least two PIM. Killorn now has eight points through eight postseason games this year.

Killorn scored the game-winning goal in Game 5 to send the Lightning to the second round with a 1-0 win Thursday against the Red Wings.

Killorn has found his scoring touch in the postseason, registering a tally in three of five games against the Red Wings including two game winners. The 26-year-old also picked up two helpers and an enormous 16 PIM in the series. The center had 40 points in the regular season, but in last year's playoffs, Killorn exploded for 18 in 26 appearances. It's safe to say the 2007 third-round pick is a postseason gem until further notice.

Killorn has started the series with a bang, rattling off four points and a plus-6 rating in the first two games. Along with linemates Tyler Johnson (four points Friday) and Nikita Kucherov (two points Friday), the Bolts' top line has been all over the Wings in the series' first two games, so it'll be interesting to see if they can maintain their production when Game 3 gets underway Sunday.

Killorn, who has spent most of the season toiling on Tampa's checking line, has seen his offensive opportunities showcased since he was reunited with Steven Stamkos and Ryan Callahan.
