If the Jets do bring Lowry aboard, he'd likely slot in as their third-line left wing, a role that wouldn't be completely bereft of fantasy value while remaining next to competent offensive skaters in Mathieu Perreault and Michael Frolik. Lowry also signed his first pro contract with the Jets, who drafted him with the 67th overall pick in the 2011 draft, and appeared in nine contests with the St. John's IceCaps.

According to Renaud Lavoie of RDS, the Jets have signed Adam Lowry to a three-year, entry-level deal. His report surfaced late Monday night.
