Tutu Atwell
WR MIA (12)
Thu 3/12/26 4:21 PM

Atwell is signing a one-year contract with the Dolphins, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Atwell had 1,535 receiving yards and five touchdown catches in five regular seasons with the Rams. The Miami native should help the Dolphins stretch the field with his speed. Atwell joins a wide receiver room that doesn't have much depth behind Jaylen Waddle (ribs), as no wide receiver besides Waddle (910) exceeded 317 receiving yards for Miami in 2025.

QDaniel Jones
QB IND (11)
Thu 3/12/26 4:04 PM

The Colts officially signed Jones (Achilles) to a two-year contract extension Thursday,
EDGE Analysis
Jones' contract not only provides an extra year of security with Indianapolis beyond the transition tag, that was initially extended to him, but it gives him a base salary of $50 million for 2026, per Brigid Kennedy of SI.com, $12.2 million above the tag amount even before including his $6 million in incentives. The 28-year-old said Wednesday on The Pat McAfee Show that he's fully recovered from the broken left fibula injury he dealt with in 2025 and that he's "making good progress with the rehab" from the right Achilles he suffered in December, as Grant Gordon of NFL.com reports. Jones said his goal is to "be back by Week 1 and ready to go," but it's far from a sure thing that he will be fully cleared for the start of the regular season, given the severe nature of his injury. Second-year quarterback Riley Leonard would be a candidate to start the year if Jones isn't ready to kick off there regular season, as Anthony Richardson (eye) is actively seeking a trade away from Indianapolis.

QJustin Fields
QB KC (10)
Thu 3/12/26 3:39 PM4 Comments

Fields (knee) is expected to be replaced by Geno Smith as the Jets' starting quarterback in 2026, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Jets agreed Tuesday to trade for Smith from the Raiders, and the move was made official the following day. Fields remains on the roster for now, though the Jets could save $10 million in cap space by cutting the embattled quarterback. After signing a two-year, $40 million contract with the Jets last offseason, Fields posted a 2-7 record as a starter while averaging 140 passing yards per game. He finished the season on injured reserve due to a knee injury.

Rachaad White
RB WAS (12)
Thu 3/12/26 3:12 PM1 Comment

White agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Washington on Thursday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
White is moving on from Tampa Bay after four seasons and now joins Jacory Croskey-Merritt atop Washington's wide open backfield. A versatile pass-catching specialist also capable of contributing between the tackles, White's style of play makes it easy to project him as a productive complement alongside Croskey-Merritt, a 2025 seventh-round pick who compiled 805 rushing yards and eight scores across 175 carries (4.6 YPC) and 17 regular-season appearances as a rookie. The Commanders will remain a candidate to add to the backfield in free agency and/or April's draft, but White has found a landing spot that could provide a boost for his fantasy prospects, especially in PPR formats, for the 2026 season.

Jonathan Allen
IL/DT CIN (10)
Thu 3/12/26 2:30 PM

Allen and the Bengals agreed to terms on a two-year, $26 million deal Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old defensive lineman from Alabama is set to join the Bengals after spending his 2025 campaign with the Vikings. Allen has appeared in 25 regular-season games over the last two seasons, recording 87 total tackles, including 6.5 sacks. Additionally, he earned Pro Bowl selections in 2021 and 2022 while playing for the Commanders. Now in Cincinnati, Allen is expected to operate as the Bengals' top interior defensive lineman during the 2026 season.

Braden Mann
P PHI (9)
Thu 3/12/26 2:19 PM

Mann and the Eagles agreed to terms on a four-year, $14 million extension Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mann, a 2020 sixth-round pick out of Texas A&M, is now set to remain in Philadelphia after spending his last three seasons with the team. The 28-year-old has appeared in all 17 of the Eagles' regular-season games in consecutive seasons, placing 40 punts inside of the opponents' 20-yard line. Following Mann's extension, he's expected to remain Philadelphia's top punter and holder for the foreseeable future.

Ben Sinnott
TE WAS (12)
Thu 3/12/26 2:07 PM

Sinnott has a chance to earn a larger role in 2026, but free-agent signing Chig Okonkwo figures to replace Zach Ertz (knee) as Washington's top pass-catching tight end, according to Bryan Manning of Commanders Wire.
EDGE Analysis
With Kliff Kingsbury calling plays the past two seasons, Sinnott drew just 18 targets in 33 regular-season games (652 snaps). New offensive coordinator David Blough may have a somewhat larger role in mind, but the recent Okonkwo signing (three years, $30 million) hints at Sinnott and John Bates mostly blocking again. Bates is a better blocker, and he signed an extension last March, putting Sinnott at risk of a third straight season as merely the No. 3 TE in Washington. Sinnott may even enter training camp on the roster bubble, albeit with age (24 in June), draft capital (53rd overall in 2024) and athleticism (4.68 40) working in his favor.

QAlijah Vera-Tucker
NE (14)
Thu 3/12/26 1:42 PM

Vera-Tucker (triceps) told reporters Thursday that he anticipates being fully cleared for the start of OTAs, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vera-Tucker added that he plans on being a full participant in the Patriots' voluntary offseason program, which begins Apr. 20. The USC product signed a three-year, $42 million deal with New England on Mar. 9 after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Jets. Once Vera-Tucker returns to full health, he's expected to operate as the Patriots' top left guard during the 2026 season.

Trent Scott
WAS (12)
Thu 3/12/26 1:36 PM

The Commanders and Scott agreed to terms on a contract Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran offensive lineman from Grambling State will now remain in Washington after spending the last three years of his career with the team. Scott appeared in eight games last season (three starts) and logged 117 total snaps (82 on offense, 35 on special teams). He's expected to compete for a depth role on the Commanders' offensive line throughout the summer.

Elijah Hicks
S CHI (5)
Thu 3/12/26 1:32 PM

Hicks and the Bears agreed to terms on a one-year deal Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The 2022 seventh-round pick from California is now slated to remain in Chicago after spending the first four seasons of his NFL career with the team. Hicks appeared in 17 regular-season games in 2025, recording 19 total tackles across 371 total snaps (309 on special teams, 62 on defense). He's expected to remain one of the Bears' top special-teamers during the 2026 campaign.
