EDR/DE ARI (8)
Thu 3/12/26 7:38 PM

Williams signed with the Cardinals on Thursday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The defensive end appeared in 15 games for the Saints last year, recording 18 tackles (eight solo), including 3.0 sacks. Williams was primarily a starter in 2023 with the Rams, but he has started only three games in the two seasons since then.

Connor Heyward
TE LV (8)
Thu 3/12/26 7:35 PM

Heyward and the Raiders agreed to terms on a two-year, $5.5 million contract Thursday that includes $2 million guaranteed, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Heyward was selected by the Steelers in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and spent the first four years of his professional career in Pittsburgh. He was used mostly on special teams last year but was also used as a rusher on short yard-to-gain situations, finishing with 15 carries for 43 yards and two touchdowns across 17 regular-season games. Per Rapoport, Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak intends to use Heyward more as a fullback in the Las Vegas offense.

Jerrick Reed
S TEN (10)
Thu 3/12/26 7:32 PM

Reed signed a one-year contract with the Titans on Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The safety was claimed off waivers by the Titans from the Seahawks last November, and he appeared in three games with his new team, making six tackles (four solo). Reed saw action on 61 defensive snaps and 24 special-teams snaps after joining Tennessee. He played more on special teams than defense for Seattle last year.

Evan Brown
HOU (6)
Thu 3/12/26 7:27 PM

The Cardinals released Brown (personal) on Thursday, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The move will save the Cardinals approximately $5 million of salary cap space. He started in all 11 regular-season games he appeared in last year, but he did not play in Arizona's last five games due to a personal matter. Now that he's a free agent, Brown will have the opportunity to sign with a team looking to bolster its offensive line with a guard.

Brandon Pili
IL/DT SEA (8)
Thu 3/12/26 7:25 PM

Pili signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pili served in a rotational role on the Seahawks' defensive line last year, finishing with 12 tackles (one solo) and one forced fumble across 13 regular-season games. He'll likely work in the same role in 2026 behind the likes of Byron Murphy, Jarran Reed and Leonard Williams.

Jaquan Brisker
S PIT (5)
Thu 3/12/26 7:21 PM

Brisker agreed to a deal with the Steelers on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The safety started all 17 regular-season games and both playoff games for the Bears in 2025, finishing the regular season with 93 tackles (52 solo) and eight pass breakups. It was a nice return season for Brisker after missing most of the 2024 campaign with concussion-related issues. The 2022 second-round pick could play a similar role for Pittsburgh as he did for Chicago last year.

Rodney Thomas
S SEA (8)
Thu 3/12/26 7:20 PM

Thomas and the Seahawks agreed to terms on a one-year contract Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas will call Seattle his home for the first time in his NFL career after spending the last four seasons with the Colts. He was a key part of the Colts' secondary in the two years after being selected in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft. However, Thomas saw less defensive snaps over the last two years and more work on special teams, and he finished the 2025 regular season with 21 tackles (14 solo) across 17 games. He'll likely see most of his snaps on special teams in Seattle but would be in line for more snaps in the secondary if one or both of Ty Okada and Julian Love were to miss time.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson
S BUF (7)
Thu 3/12/26 7:16 PM

Gardner-Johnson and the Bills agreed to terms on a one-year contract Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gardner-Johnson opened the 2025 season with the Texans after being traded by the Eagles in March of last year. He appeared in only three games for Houston before being released in late September, which led to the 2019 fourth-rounder signing with the Bears in late October. Gardner-Johnson played a key role in the Bears' secondary and finished the regular season with 51 tackles (35 solo), including 3.0 sacks, four pass defenses (two interceptions) and one forced fumble across 10 games with Chicago. He'll now head to Buffalo, where he's projected to start at safety alongside 2024 second-rounder Cole Bishop.

Kylen Granson
TE TEN (10)
Thu 3/12/26 7:13 PM

Granson signed a one-year deal with the Titans on Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The tight end finished the 2025 campaign with career lows in catches (seven), targets (nine) and receiving yards (40). Granson also played more on special teams than defense for the Eagles. The former Colt will now try to find a role with the Titans.

Denzel Perryman
LB LAC (12)
Thu 3/12/26 7:08 PM

Perryman and the Chargers agreed to terms on a one-year contract Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Perryman will return to the Chargers for a third consecutive season (and ninth campaign since being drafted by the team in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft). He saw his production dip in 2025, finishing with 47 tackles (30 solo) and three pass defenses across 10 regular-season games. He missed seven games last season, five of which were due to an ankle injury and two more because of a suspension. Perryman's best days are behind him, but he'll fortify the Chargers' depth at inside linebacker behind projected starters Troy Dye and Daiyan Henley.
