David Njoku
TE FA
Thu 3/12/26 9:40 AM

The Browns released Njoku (knee) on Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cleveland coupled Njoku's release with a post-June 1 designation, spreading the hits of his dead cap out into $9.5 million for 2026 and $14.7 million in 2027, per Oyefusi. The breakout rookie campaign logged by Harold Fannin last year limited Njoku to just a 33-293-4 line across 12 regular-season appearances, with injuries also limiting his production. Across his nine seasons with the Browns, however, Njoku surpassed 500 receiving yards on four separate occasions despite inconsistent quarterback play, including an impressive 81-882-6 line in 2023. He missed the final four games of 2025 due to knee and personal issues, but Njoku is now presumably healthy and ready to search for a new squad for his age-30 season.

Keaton Mitchell
RB LAC (12)
Thu 3/12/26 9:32 AM

Mitchell agreed to terms Thursday on a two-year, $9.25 million contract with Los Angeles, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mitchell brings his talents to a backfield already led by Omarion Hamption and No. 2 back Kimani Vidal. Across three seasons with Baltimore, the 24-year-old logged a total of 112 carries for 767 yards and three touchdowns, averaging an impressive 6.34 YPC. While the Hampton and Vidal represent difficult competition for Mitchell to earn depth opportunities, he seems a strong fit for new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel's scheme and will be a sleeper candidate to impress with the Chargers.

Yosh Nijman
CAR (14)
Wed 3/11/26 11:07 PM

Nijman announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nijman will hang up his cleats after six seasons with the Packers and Panthers. The offensive lineman made 29 starts during his career, most recently starting four games with Carolina in 2025.

Kyler Murray
QB MIN (6)
Wed 3/11/26 8:21 PM

Murray will visit the Vikings on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
As Schefter notes, the belief across the league is that Murray's likely landing spot is Minnesota after he was officially released by the Cardinals earlier Wednesday. The Vikings are an ideal landing spot after J.J. McCarthy struggled to an 11:12 TD:INT and 58 percent completion percentage across 10 starts in his first season as a starter in 2025. On top of the struggles on the field, McCarthy was unable to stay healthy when on it. Murray likely sees Minnesota as one of his better chances to claim a starting job.

Charles Omenihu
EDR/LB WAS (12)
Wed 3/11/26 8:19 PM

Omenihu and the Commanders agreed on a one-year, $4 million contract Wednesday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Omenihu will join a Washington defense that has undergone quite the facelift this offseason. The 28-year-old played in all 17 regular-season games with Kansas City in 2025, matching his career-high 28 total tackles (15 solo), including 3.5 sacks. Now with the Commanders, Omenihu could slot in as a starting defensive end opposite of Tim Settle (foot) in 2026.

QAJ Finley
S SEA (8)
Wed 3/11/26 7:46 PM

Finley (knee) and the Seahawks agreed on a contract Wednesday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Finley will remain in Seattle after spending the entirety of the 2025 campaign on injured reserve with a knee issue. The safety will look to return to full health and compete for defensive snaps in the Seahawks' secondary in 2026.

Jamie Gillan
P FA
Wed 3/11/26 7:40 PM

The Giants released Gillan on Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gillan spent the last four years of his NFL career with the Giants. He averaged 44.5 yards per punt across 16 regular-season games in 2025, finishing with a 7.3 percent touchback rate and landed 17 of 55 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line. Gillan will look to join a team in need of a punter.

Derrick Nnadi
IL/DT IND (11)
Wed 3/11/26 7:40 PM

Nnadi and the Colts agreed on a contract Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nnadi will head to Indianapolis after spending the first eight seasons of his career with the Chiefs, though he did spend last offseason as a member of the Jets before being traded back to Kansas City prior to the 2025 campaign. The defensive lineman registered 16 total tackles (10 solo) over 15 regular-season contests with the Chiefs this past year, and he'll provide the Colts with another veteran presence on the interior defensive line in 2026.

QChris Board
LB FA
Wed 3/11/26 7:37 PM

The Giants released Board (chest) on Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Board was limited to just two regular-season games in 2025 before landing on injured reserve in mid-September due to a chest injury. Once he's fully healthy, the North Dakota State product will look to join a team in need of a linebacker who can also contribute to special teams.

A'Shawn Robinson
DE/IL TB (9)
Wed 3/11/26 7:34 PM

Robinson and the Buccaneers agreed to terms on a one-year, $10 million contract Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson was released by the Panthers on Tuesday, but it didn't take long for the veteran defensive end to find a new home, as he'll stay in the NFC South with the Buccaneers. He spent the last two years in Carolina and logged 65 tackles (21 solo), including 2.5 sacks, three pass defenses and one fumble recovery across 17 regular-season games in 2025. Robinson will join a Buccaneers defensive line that also includes Vita Vea, Elijah Roberts and Calijah Kancey.
