Sneed (quadriceps) was released by the Titans on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite signing a four-year, $76.4 million deal with the Titans in March of 2024, Sneed has been dropped after spending just two seasons with the team. During his two years in Tennessee, the 29-year-old appeared in just 12 games, tallying 49 total tackles and three passes defensed. Despite his underwhelming stint with the Titans, Sneed was one of the NFL's top cornerbacks in 2023, recording 14 passes defensed, including two interceptions, while allowing just a 56.2 passer rating when targeted across 16 regular-season games with the Chiefs. At the scouting combine, Titans' general manager Mike Borgonzi told reporters Sneed was undergoing rehab on a quadriceps injury that held him out of the team's final 10 games last season. Once fully healthy, Sneed is expected to draw interest from teams in need of secondary help ahead of the 2026 season.

The Colts re-signed wide receiver Alec Pierce and quarterback Daniel Jones (Achilles), keeping intact the rest of a passing game in which Downs finished fourth on the team with 566 receiving yards in 2025, trailing Pierce (1,003), rookie tight end Tyler Warren (817) and Pittman (784).

Dowdle is coming off consecutive seasons with at least 1,076 rushing yards and runs with more power than Warren or Gainwell, but Warren's likely to see the majority of playing time in passing situations while possibly rotating with Dowdle on early downs.
