Pascal secured four of five targets for 43 yards and two touchdowns in the Colts' 28-16 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal stepped up as a red-zone threat for new quarterback Carson Wentz with T.Y. Hilton (IR-neck) unavailable, getting into the end zone from 10 and 11 yards out in the second and fourth quarters, respectively. While chunk plays are far from his forte, the veteran wideout brings a sure-handed, reliable presence that it wouldn't be difficult to envision Wentz getting very comfortable with as the season unfolds. Pascal will look to continue his strong form when the Colts tangle with the Rams at home in Week 2.

Pascal was removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday morning, Zak Keefer of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal returns to practice along with QB Carson Wentz (foot) and starting center Ryan Kelly. Pascal's absence coincided with WR T.Y. Hilton's surgery for a disc injury in his neck, ruling the veteran out for at least three games. Pascal seemed to be competing with Parris Campbell for slot snaps earlier this summer, but the Colts may now use him as a replacement for Hilton, at least early on in the season. They kick things off with a Week 1 home game against the Seahawks.

Pascal (undisclosed) will be eligible for activation from the reserve/COVID-19 list after five days, as long as he remains asymptomatic and continues to return negative tests, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal, quarterback Carson Wentz (foot), and center Ryan Kelly (undisclosed) are all considered close contacts of a Colts' staff member who tested positive. Pascal will be forced to miss a handful of practices, but as long as he continues to pass through the league's health and safety protocols without positive tests, he should be back in action well before Sept. 12's season opener against Seattle. Given that T.Y. Hilton (neck) is expected to miss multiple weeks, Pascal looks destined for an increased role in Indianapolis' passing game alongside Michael Pittman and Parris Campbell.

The Colts placed Pascal (undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal was one of three players placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list by Indianapolis on Monday, alongside quarterback Carson Wentz and center Ryan Kelly. The wideout looks slated for an increased role in Indianapolis' aerial attack with T.Y. Hilton (neck) out multiple weeks, but Pascal first will have to fully clear the league's protocols for COVID-19. An exact timetable for Pascal's return remains undisclosed, and he has just under two weeks before the regular-season kickoff Sept. 12 versus Seattle.

Pascal will likely see the largest increase in playing time among the receiving corps while T.Y. Hilton is out multiple weeks with a neck injury, Stephen Holder of The Athletic reports. Pascal is likely to start at receiver opposite Michael Pittman.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal is likely to start outside opposite Pittman with Parris Campbell in the slot. However, both Campbell and Pascal were used frequently in the slot last season and Pascal was used in multiple roles. It may take a week or two to figure out how a passing game without Hilton and with new quarterback Carson Wentz may distribute targets. Mike Strachan could be a factor at wide receiver after a strong preseason, but the offense also has three viable pass catching tight ends that could help take over the targets that Hilton would have commanded. Either way, Pascal looks set to play a prominent role.

Pascal caught all four of his targets for 41 yards in Saturday's preseason win at Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal started opposite Michael Pittman at wide receiver with T.Y. Hilton sitting out. Pascal will remain a steady presence in the Indy passing game and fill in at several roles, but he may not have much upside for targets if both Hilton and Parris Campbell stay healthy.

Pascal has signed his restricted free agent tender, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Colts' use of a second-round tender all but ensured Pascal wouldn't receive an offer sheet. He'll stick around in Indianapolis, where T.Y. Hilton, Michael Pittman and Parris Campbell represent the competition for playing time at wide receiver. Pascal had a top-three role for most of last season, but he could drop down to No. 4 if everyone is healthy (a big 'if') in 2021.

The Colts placed a second-round tender on Pascal on Tuesday, Stephen Holder of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Any team that gives Pascal an offer sheet would have to give up a second-round pick if Indianapolis decides not to match, which means the restricted free agent will almost certainly remain a Colt next season. Whether Pascal chooses to sign the tender or negotiate a separate contract with the Colts remains to be seen.

Pascal secured two of four targets for 41 yards Sunday in the Colts' 28-14 win over the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal wasn't able to maintain his two-game scoring streak, but he at least parlayed both of his receptions into big gains. The wideout suited up in all 16 regular-season contests for the Colts, reeling in 44 of 71 targets for 629 yards and five touchdowns. He'll continue operating in a starting role alongside T.Y. Hilton and Michael Pittman during Saturday's wild-card game in Buffalo.

Pascal caught three of six targets for 64 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal got off to a great start as he hauled in a 42-yard touchdown pass to help his team build a 14-point lead at halftime. He didn't do quite as much with the rest of his looks, but he still led the team in receiving yardage for the second straight game and has three touchdowns in those contests to take his total to five for the season. Pascal has emerged as a regular contributor most weeks and will look to finish the regular season on a high in next Sunday's matchup with a poor Jaguars defense.
