Pascal (ankle) is expected to play Sunday against the Vikings, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old received the questionable tag despite practicing as a full participant Friday, so it's not a major surprise he's expected to suit up Sunday. Pascal worked as the Colts' No. 3 wideout Week 1 and caught two of three targets for 18 yards, and he should operate in a similar role this week with Michael Pittman (toe) unlikely to suit up.

Pascal (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest versus the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal increased his activity level in each practice this week, going from none Wednesday to all of the reps Friday. Still, the Colts have applied a 'questionable' designation to the wide receiver, who may be the Colts' unquestioned No. 3 at the position if he plays and rookie Michael Pittman (toe) is inactive. During a Week 1 visit to Jacksonville, Pascal earned 62 percent of the offensive snaps but managed just two catches (on three targets) for 18 yards.

Pascal (ankle) returned to a limited practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal didn't practice Wednesday, so his return to the field Thursday bodes well for his Week 2 status. Look for Pascal, who started along with T.Y. Hilton and Parris Campbell and logged 46 (of a possible 74) snaps on offense in this past weekend's loss to the Jaguars, to either approach Sunday's game against the Vikings listed as questionable, or free from an injury designation altogether.

Pascal (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This is a new injury for Pascal, so it will be worth monitoring his practice participation as the week goes on. Pascal just edged out Michael Pittman for third in snaps among the Colts' receivers in Week 1, so Pittman could see his role grow if Pascal is out or limited on game day against Minnesota.

Pascal had two receptions for 18 yards on three targets in Sunday's 27-20 loss at Jacksonville. He played on 46 of the team's 74 snaps on offense.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal played the third most snaps among receivers and got the start when the offense began with a three-receiver set. However, he played just seven more snaps than Michael Pittman (39 snaps) and was tied for sixth in targets in the offense. Pascal looks set to work as the third or fourth receiver and as a veteran who can fill gaps elsewhere when needed.

Pascal is listed as the No. 3 receiver on the Colts' initial unofficial depth chart, opposite starters T.Y. Hilton and Parris Campbell.
EDGE Analysis
The depth chart may be giving deference to Pascal as a veteran as 2020 second-round draft pick Michael Pittman is listed as the No. 4 receiver. Pittman was seen getting reps with the first-team offense in training camp and it's thought he'll have a significant role at the start of the regular season. Still, it's unclear how quickly the Colts will integrate Pittman into the offense, so Pascal could begin the season with a larger than expected role. If the receiving corps stays healthy (Hilton and Campbell had injury woes last season), then Pascal is seen eventually having a utility role and working in several spots in the passing game.

Pascal (hamstring) returned to practice Monday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
He's back in action, but with T.Y. Hilton poised to begin the season healthy, Parris Campbell in line to see an expanded role, and second-rounder Michael Pittman also in the mix, Pascal's path to reliable targets isn't clear. Of course, that could change in time if injuries hit and create a context in which Pascal's opportunities increase as the season rolls along, as was the case in 2019.

Pascal (hamstring) did not participate in Saturday's scrimmage, the Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pascal took advantage of injuries in the Colts' receiving corps in 2019 and ending up pacing the team in receiving yards (607) while hauling in 41 of his 72 targets. With T.Y. Hilton healthy, Paris Campbell poised to see an expanded role, and second-rounder Michael Pittman also in the mix, Pascal may have a more limited role. It's not clear if his injury is serious, but he could be limited heading into the regular season.

Pascal didn't practice Friday, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports. He has a hamstring injury, the Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nor did fellow wide receiver Parris Campbell (concussion). Pascal took advantage of injuries in the Colts' receiving corps in 2019 and ending up pacing the team in receiving yards (607) while hauling in 41 of his 72 targets. With T.Y. Hilton healthy, Campbell poised to see an expanded role when he returns, and second-rounder Michael Pittman also in the mix, volume could be an issue for Pascal. He's therefore off the radar in most re-draft formats in his present context.

Pascal will face increased competition for playing time with the Colts taking Michael Pittman in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
EDGE Analysis
Pittman should immediately push for a starting role in three-wide sets for Indianapolis after catching 101 of 136 targets for 1,275 yards (9.4 YPT) and 11 touchdowns last season at USC. Pascal took advantage of a number of injuries in the receiving corps last season to lead the team in receiving yards (607) while reaching the end zone five times. However, he could be used this season in a more limited capacity with Parris Campbell also set to compete for a larger role after an injury-plagued rookie season.
