Eifert secured his only target for eight yards during Sunday's win over the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old received the start Week 1, but he played only 28 of 50 offensive snaps in his Jacksonville debut. Eifert saw more playing time that fellow tight ends James O'Shaughnessy (20 snaps) and Ben Ellefson (13), but the position group was largely uninvolved against the Colts. Eifert is the favorite to see the bulk of the snaps in Week 2, but that doesn't mean he should be on the fantasy radar for most leagues.

Eifert is listed as the No. 2 tight end on the Jaguars' first unofficial depth chart of the season, John Reid of the Florida Times-Union reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old was expected to open the season as the starter, but James O'Shaughnessy apparently had a better showing in camp and earned the job. Eifert appeared in all 16 games and caught 43 of 63 targets for 436 yards and three touchdowns in 2019 with the Bengals, but he's unlikely to replicate those numbers in 2020 without moving up the depth chart.

Eifert has looked good in the early days of training camp, according to John Oehser of Jaguars.com.
EDGE Analysis
Eifert had been expected to compete for targets with 2019 third-round pick Josh Oliver, who was placed on injured reserve Thursday after suffering a broken foot. The Jaguars still have 28-year-old James O'Shaughnessy and rookie sixth-round pick Tyler Davis in the mix for playing time, but neither seems like a major threat to Eifert's role on passing downs. There's potential for a steady stream of targets if Eifert manages to stay healthy in back-to-back seasons for the first time in his pro career. Last year marked his first time suiting up for all 16 games, though he did it while playing only 45 percent of offensive snaps for the Bengals.

Eifert agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Jaguars on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eifert was rumored to be in talks with the Jaguars earlier in the day and the two sides finally came to an agreement. The veteran will reunite with his former offensive coordinator Jay Gruden in Jacksonville, as the two spent time in Cincinnati. A part-time role limited Eifert's producing to just a 43-436-3 receiving line on 63 targets last season. With fellow tight ends James O'Shaughnessy (knee) and Josh Oliver (back) both coming off season-ending injuries, Eifert could certainly be in the mix for a starting role in 2020.

Eifert is discussing a potential contract with the Jaguars, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first report we've seen on Eifert, who quietly is coming off the only 16-game season of his career. Of course, a part-time role helped him make it through the year without any serious injuries, but it also limited his production to a 43-436-3 receiving line on 63 targets (10.1 yards per catch, 6.9 per target). Eifert's solid showing over the final four weeks of the season might convince teams that he's still a starter-quality player, or at least a major asset for the passing game. Jacksonville arguably has the weakest group of tight ends in the NFL, with James O'Shaughnessy (knee) and Josh Oliver (back) both coming off season-ending injuries.

Eifert had two catches on two targets for 34 yards in the Bengals' Week 17 win over the Browns. He was on the field for only 27 offensive snaps.
EDGE Analysis
With the Bengals playing with a rare lead, they were able to run the ball more often, which meant less time for Eifert. He enters his walk year having made it through a full season without injury, catching 43 passes for 436 yards and three touchdowns.

Eifert brought in four of eight targets for 57 yards and a game-tying touchdown in the Bengals' 38-35 overtime loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. He also caught a two-point conversion pass.
EDGE Analysis
Long known for his nose for the end zone, Eifert came down with one of the bigger touchdown receptions of his career when he hauled in a desperation Andy Dalton heave into the end zone as time expired in regulation to bring Cincinnati within two points. Prior to that, Eifert had secured an important two-point conversion catch following a Tyler Boyd three-yard touchdown grab, bringing the Bengals to within one possession. Another improbable feat Eifert has managed this season has been good health, as he's now tied a career high with 15 games played. Eifert will look to put together a positive finish to a strong season in Week 17 against the Browns.

Eifert caught three of five targets for 44 yards during Sunday's 34-13 loss to New England.
EDGE Analysis
Eifert made a pair of leaping catches during Sunday's blowout loss for gains of 19 and 24 yards. The veteran tight end has topped 40 yards in back-to-back games with Andy Dalton back under center, which doesn't sound like much until you realize that he had just one such performance during the season's first 12 games. Sunday brings a matchup against a struggling Miami defense in a game that will have major draft-day implications. Even with an uptick in production and a poor opponent, Eifert is a risky fantasy start in a lost season for the Bengals.

Eifert caught all four of his targets for 49 yards in Sunday's loss to the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Eifert was on the field for 35 snaps, frequently together with C.J. Uzomah, after playing in the mid-20's each of the previous four weeks. Neither tight end has been able to find consistent fantasy value in a shaky Bengals offense this season.

Eifert caught one of two targets for 12 yards during Sunday's win against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Andy Dalton returning under center appeared to provide a glimmer of hope for Eifert's fantasy prospects, but he was instead barely involved in the offense (25 snaps). C.J. Uzomah, however, saw 47 plays on offense while catching five of six targets for 51 yards. Uzomah has played 163 snaps to Eifert's 93 over the last four games, but Sunday was the first display of worthwhile production for either player since Eifert caught a touchdown Week 10.
