The Cardinals "hope" Todd Heap (hamstring) can return for Week 7 against the Steelers.
Heap was among a group of Cardinals not participating in the first bye-week practice, but that's standard procedure for any player nursing even a minor injury. We'll have a better idea on his status after next Wednesday's practice.

Cardinals TE Todd Heap (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 5.
Heap is expected to be a game-time decision after pulling his hamstring toward the end of Wednesday's practice. He won't be a fantasy option at Minnesota.

The Arizona Republic confirms TE Todd Heap suffered his hamstring injury in Wednesday's practice.
Heap sat out Thursday altogether after practicing in a limited fashion on Wednesday. There's a chance the veteran will miss this week's game at Minnesota.

Todd Heap (hamstring) was held out of Cardinals practice Thursday.
A discouraging sign after Heap was able to turn in a limited session on Wednesday. Unless he returns to full practice Friday, his odds of suiting up against the Vikings appear low. If you've been holding onto him as your TE1, you could take this as an opportunity to find an upgrade. Heap's status will be updated Friday.

Todd Heap (hamstring) was limited in Cardinals practice Wednesday.
It's a new injury for Heap, who was limited last Wednesday with a ribs injury. The fact he took the field at all bodes well for his chances of suiting up on Sunday, however. Without a score through four games and on pace for only 600 yards, Heap is little more than a bye week fill-in for fantasy players at this point.

Todd Heap caught four passes for 41 yards in Week 4 against the Giants.
Heap was tied for second on the team with six targets. With Andre Roberts and Early Doucet still struggling, perhaps the Cardinals will begin calling more plays for Heap, but for the time being he belongs on the wire. The 31-year-old is on pace for 52 receptions, 600 yards and no touchdowns.

Todd Heap (heap) returned to full practice Thursday.
Barring a setback, Heap will be active against the Giants this weekend. With just nine catches on 14 targets through three games, however, he should not be in your fantasy lineup.

Todd Heap (ribs) was limited in Cardinals practice Wednesday.
Heap set season bests in catches (6) and yards (61) in Week 3, as the Seattle defense took away Arizona's deep passing game and allowed Heap to run free over the middle. He should play in Week 4, but shouldn't be in fantasy lineups.

Todd Heap caught six passes for 61 yards in the Cardinals' Week 3 loss.
Heap was the main beneficiary with the Seahawks shutting down Larry Fitzgerald in the second half, seeing six targets in the final two quarters and finishing with 10 to lead the team. Still, the 31-year-old has yet to find the end zone and is just over 100 yards through three games. With Andre Roberts and Early Doucet struggling, perhaps the Cardinals will begin calling more plays for Heap. We just wouldn't bet a fantasy start on it.
