Patrick was spotted wearing a cast on his hand after Monday's loss to the Raiders, Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick was forced to exit Monday's contest early after sustaining the injury. While the cast provides some information about the severity of the 25-year-old's condition, it's unclear how much time he'll miss. While Patrick recovers, both Juwann Winfree and Diontae Spencer will likely see an increase in work.

Patrick suffered a hand injury in Monday's game and is questionable to return against the Raiders, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick is a depth option at wideout and contributes on special teams as well. He exits the contest with no receptions. Look for more updates on his status to come in the next few days when the Broncos resume practice.

Patrick was Denver's most consistent receiver during Denver's joint practices with San Francisco, Benjamin Allbright of KOA News Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick reportedly had a chip on his shoulder as the 49ers cut him back in 2017. That, obviously, won't help him much come the start of the season, but he might be able to carry over his consistent play from these two days of practices. Though most pundits focus on Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton as the future at the position for the Broncos, Patrick is often left out of the conversation despite leading the team in receiving yardage during the final quarter of 2018. Patrick is firmly set at WR4 and offers Joe Flacco a big target to toss it up to downfield.

As the hierarchy shakes out, Patrick is firmly in the WR4 role for the Broncos, Benjamin Allbright of KOA News Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick is about where Broncos fans expected him to be this camp, firmly on the roster but behind fellow young targets Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton. Patrick's coming along recently, with Emmanuel Sanders telling reporters that Patrick's tape has been used in the film room to teach other receivers how to release off the line of scrimmage, but his value is still likely further into the future. Look for Patrick's usage to be dependent on the opponent, as his size and ability to box out defenders could be appealing against secondaries with smaller corners.

Patrick signed his exclusive rights tender with the Broncos on Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
An undrafted free agent in 2017, Patrick spent time with the Ravens, 49ers and Broncos that year before parlaying a reserve/future contract with the latter organization into his first spot on a 53-man roster last season. Injuries took their toll on the receiving corps as the campaign went on, eventually giving him a chance to produce down the stretch. Notably, he corralled 19 of his 30 targets for 242 yards across the last four games. The passing attack under Joe Flacco's direction will revolve around Emmanuel Sanders (once healthy from a torn Achilles) and second-year wideouts Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton. Assuming no more additions to the receivers room, Patrick could thrive in three-wide sets until Sanders is back in the fold.

The Broncos tendered Patrick on Thursday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick went from little-known former undrafted free agent to special-teams contributor to promising young target all in the course of a few months. He finished particularly strong with 19 receptions and a team-high 242 yards during the final four games of 2018. Patrick figures to be prominent component of Denver's young core of the future featuring Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton. That future may come right away depending on whether or not veteran Emmanuel Sanders returns to form in 2019.

Patrick concluded 2018 having caught 23 of 41 passes for 315 yards and a touchdown. He added 17 yards on three carries and fumbled twice, losing one.
EDGE Analysis
After drafting two receivers in each of the past two drafts, a youth movement was expected at receiver, but perhaps -- aside from 2018 second-round pick Courtland Sutton -- none of them showed as much promise as Patrick, a 2017 undrafted free agent out of Utah. Patrick was primarily a special-teams contributor for most of the season, but came on strong during the season's final four games following the season-ending Achilles injury to Emmanuel Sanders. Patrick averaged 4.75 catches and 60.5 yards off of 7.5 targets per game during the season's final quarter after tallying just four catches and 73 yards to that point. A healthy Sanders would certainly be a welcomed sight next season on a roster without many prominent targets, but it's not hard to imagine the future of Denver's passing game being built around two giant receivers -- Patrick and Sutton -- on the outside.

Patrick (knee) has returned to Sunday's game against the Chargers, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick briefly left the field during the second quarter of Sunday's season finale, then stormed out of halftime with a 21-yard reception. The 25-year-old returns to his role as the Broncos' No. 3 receiver.

EDGE Analysis
Patrick exited Sunday's season finale during the second quarter. As long as the 25-year-old remains sidelined, River Caracraft will slot in as Denver's No. 3 wideout.

Patrick brought in seven of 10 targets for 85 yards in the Broncos' 20-14 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. He also rushed once for 11 yards and fumbled once.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick led the Broncos in receptions, receiving yardage and targets while stepping to the forefront in the wake of Emmanuel Sanders' season-ending Achilles injury. The rookie brings excellent size at 6-foot-4 and 212 pounds, and he displayed strong rapport with Case Keenum in the low-scoring loss. Patrick should be able to improve the more game reps he sees, something he'll look to deliver on against the Browns in a Week 15 Saturday night matchup.
