Patrick (hamstring) wasn't present during the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Broncos have labeled Patrick day-to-day, and he currently looks to be trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's game against the Chargers. The 26-year-old will look to upgrade his level of practice participation Thursday and Friday.

Coach Vic Fangio said Monday that Patrick (hamstring) is day-to-day, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick secured three of four targets for 44 yards prior to being forced out of Sunday's 43-16 loss to the Chiefs in the fourth quarter. The label of his hamstring injury as 'day-to-day' would seem to indicate that Patrick has a chance of suiting up against the Chargers in Week 8, though the extent of his practice activity likely will serve as the determining factor for his availability.

Patrick is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Chiefs due to a hamstring injury, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick left the field midway through the fourth quarter, so it seems likely that he won't return to the field Sunday. Before being forced out against the Chiefs, Patrick caught three of four targets for 44 yards.

Patrick caught four of eight targets for 101 yards in Sunday's 18-12 win over New England.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick set up an opening-drive field goal with a 41-yard catch and led the team in receptions, yards and targets. The third-year man out of Utah remained the top receiving option for the Broncos with Drew Lock (shoulder) back under center, accounting for over half of Lock's passing yards and four of his 10 completions. Patrick has topped 100 receiving yards in each of his last two games heading into a Week 7 meeting with the Chiefs.

Patrick and the Broncos won't play the Patriots on Monday after the game was postponed until Week 6 due to a third positive COVID-19 test in the New England organization within the past eight days, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Broncos and Patriots are now tentatively scheduled to play Sunday, Oct. 18 in Week 6, which was originally a scheduled bye week for New England. Denver, meanwhile, had been in line to host the Dolphins, but Miami now looks poised to take its bye Week 6.

Patrick secured six of seven targets for 113 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 37-28 win over the Jets on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick paced the Broncos in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night, flashing excellent rapport with first-time starter Brett Rypien. While his seven-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter helped give Denver some breathing room after it was clinging to a 17-16 lead, Patrick's biggest grab of the night may have come on a 31-yard reception late in the fourth quarter that took the ball to the Jets' 22-yard line. Brandon McManus was subsequently able to close out the drive with a 53-yard field goal that erased a 27-25 deficit for the Broncos, giving them a lead they wouldn't relinquish. With Courtland Sutton (knee) out for the remainder of the season, Patrick could certainly be in line for a career year if he can keep up his current moment. He'll head into a Week 5 road matchup against the Patriots on Sunday, Oct. 11 with a 16-209-2 line over his first four contests.

Patrick caught all four of his targets for 43 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 28-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick was easily the most efficient of Denver's top three pass-catchers, as Jerry Jeudy (nine targets) and Noah Fant (10 targets) posted catch rates of 55.6 percent and 50 percent, respectively. The 26-year-old also accounted for multiple receptions Weeks 1 and 2, but Patrick's yardage total was his best output since Week 16 of last season. With Courtland Sutton (knee-ACL) on injured reserve, Patrick will remain the No. 2 option at wide receiver as the Broncos head into a Thursday night matchup against a Jets team that has surrendered 31.3 points per game.

Patrick should start opposite Jerry Jeudy following news that Courland Sutton (torn ACL) will miss the rest of the season, Ben Swanson of the Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick has logged at least 65 percent of offensive snaps in each of the first two games, and with Sutton done for the season, that role should be locked down for the foreseeable future. However, he hasn't been very productive through two weeks with just six catches for 53 yards on 10 targets, and his five targets in Week 2 were surpassed by rookies Jerry Jeudy (eight) and KJ Hamler (seven). There's more ambiguity now, too, as QB Drew Lock (shoulder) will sit out at least two weeks, and Jeff Driskel will take over under center. With Patrick potentially being the fourth receiving option for Driskel behind Jeudy, Hamler and TE Noah Fant, his fantasy outlook is bleak.

Patrick caught four of five targets for 29 yards during Monday's 16-14 loss to Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick was the elder statesman on the field Monday night as Courtland Sutton (shoulder) was held out. Patrick came up with a big 15-yard grab on second and long to set up Denver's fourth-quarter touchdown, but it was an otherwise quiet night. Things shouldn't get much louder once Sutton returns to the lineup. Monday evidenced that, while young and inexperienced, Denver has a lot of skill players to try to get the ball to and Patrick, though WR3, is probably no better than the fifth or sixth option in Denver's arsenal.

Patrick (undisclosed) returned to practice Friday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Patrick was absent Monday through Thursday but will suit up to close out the week. He's competing for the No. 3 receiver job, with DaeSean Hamilton and KJ Hamler (hamstring) being the other candidates. Hamler hasn't been able to practice for the past week and a half, and it isn't clear if he'll be available for Week 1.
