Moore (undisclosed injury) practiced for the first time in three weeks on Wednesday, and is unlikely to regain his starting spot, the Contra Costa Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moore recorded 90 tackles and three sacks in just 11 games last year as the starting weak-side linebacker, but injuries kept him out of the remaining five. He's now started 22 games after over his first two seasons but coach Jack Del Rio stated that "He thinks Moore is competing to be a role player somewhere" after the amount of time he's missed. Moore had offseason hip surgery and missed the first three weeks of camp which means the new coaching staff has yet to see him on the field at any point. "To try and cram a guy that hasn't played at all in camp into a potential role as a feature player, I think that's a little far-fetched," Del Rio said. Free agent addition Malcolm Smith is listed as the starter at this point, which means Moore's value as an IDP will likely take a big hit.

Moore (hip) increased his activity level on the first day of the Raiders' mandatory minicamp Tuesday, Bill Williamson of ESPN.com reports. After suffering a season-ending hip injury in Week 14, Moore is belying the belief that he wouldn't participate in the offseason program. With full health a distinct possibility by the start of training camp in late July, he'll look to replicate last season's 90 tackles (67 solo), three sacks, and one forced fumble across 11 games this fall.

Moore (hip) has taken part in portions of team drills but hasn't received clearance for contact as of last week, Scott Bair of CSN California reports. Moore's sophomore season came to an abbreviated end after Week 14, when a hip injury limited him to one solo tackle. Prior to the outing, he tallied double-digit stops four times in 10 games en route to 89 tackles (66 solo), three sacks, and one forced fumble. With OTAs ongoing, his recent activity level is encouraging, as he wasn't expected to participate in any part of the offseason program prior to training camp. Expect the outside linebacker to hold down a starting gig once contact is a part of his daily regimen.

Moore (hip) is expected to miss OTAs in May and June, but should be healthy by the start of training camp, CSN Bay Area reports. "He should be ready," general manager Reggie McKenzie said. "There's nothing negative to suggest that he won't be ready for training camp. He had major surgery, so it's going to take him awhile to get back. We're not going to have him push through just to have him ready for the start of OTAs."After suffering a hip injury in December, Moore was shut down for the final three games of the regular season and eventually had surgery in January. With a long recovery expected, he won't be active when the Raiders' offseason program commences on Apr. 6, and an appearance in OTAs likely won't come to pass. In two professional campaigns, he's proved his all-around prowess at outside linebacker, racking up 140 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 26 games.

Moore (hip) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Moore will see his season come to a close after making 90 tackles (67 solo) and recording three sacks in just 11 games. Don't forget about him next season if you are in a fantasy league that uses IDPs.

Moore (hip) was downgraded to 'out' for Sunday's game against Kansas City, the Bay Area News Group's Steve Corkran reports. Moore's absence from Sunday's game is good news for the Kansas City offense, as Moore has been one of the league's more promising young linebackers this year. Moore has 90 tackles (nine for a loss) and three sacks in just 11 games.

Moore (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Jerry McDonald of the Contra Costa Times reports. Moore is expected to play, but the hip will likely limit him enough to make him an unwise IDP play. Due to his strong season, the Raiders might want to preserve him for next year going forward.

Moore (hip) was limited at practice Thursday, the Raiders' official site reports. Moore has been a solid IDP this season, but dealing with a hip issue now and coming off a one-tackle effort in Week 14, he's looking like a speculative play Sunday against the Chiefs.

Moore (hip) was not listed on Wednesday's injury report. Moore battled a hip injury last week, but it didn't stop him from suiting up Sunday, and is unlikely to limit him moving forward. The 24-year-old linebacker has been a solid IDP option this season, collecting 90 tackles and three sacks.

Moore (hip) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Moore is out there if you need him Sunday, and averaging just a shade under nine tackles a game, with three sacks to his credit, the linebacker has carved out IDP utility this season.
