Succop is signing with the Buccaneers, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The team is waiving fellow kicker Elliott Fry in a corresponding transaction, setting up a last-minute competition between Succop and Matt Gay. The incumbent missed eight field-goal attempts and five PATs last season, while Succop had two stints on injured reserve with the Titans, going 1-for-6 on field-goal tries in his six games in between. Prior to last season, Succop enjoyed five consecutive campaigns with a field-goal percentage of 83.3 or better, so he could be an upgrade on Gay if last year's knee injury truly is no longer an issue. The Tampa kicker battle carries genuine intrigue for fantasy purposes, as the team's offense has high expectations with Tom Brady now playing quarterback. Succop's one-year contract with the Bucs includes $150,000 guaranteed.

Succop (knee) kicked successful 60-yard field goals in a recent video, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to last season -- his 11th in the NFL -- Succop didn't miss a game between stints with the Chiefs and Titans. However, he missed some practice time in 2018 due to knee tendinitis, and subsequent offseason surgery caused his recovery to extend into the 2019 campaign. Despite returning to action Week 9, Succop made just one of six field-goal attempts (to go with 24 of 25 PATs) before landing back on IR after Week 15 and missing the Titans' playoff run. Now seemingly healthy, the 33-year-old must pass a physical and necessary COVID-19 testing in order to get another chance in the league.

The Titans released Succop (knee) on Friday, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Succop converted at least 83.3 percent of his field-goal attempts in each season from 2014 to 2018, but he went just 1-of-6 in 2019, when he missed 10 games because of knee injuries. The 33-year-old should get another chance in the NFL once he's healthy, but the Titans had no interest in keeping him around for the third season of a five-year, $20 million contract. The team is left with Greg Joseph as its lone kicker on the offseason roster.

Succop (knee) may be cut this offseason, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Succop signed a five-year, $20 million contract in March 2018, making him one of the highest-paid kickers in the NFL. He was impressive during the first season of his deal, but knee injuries limited him to six games in 2019, when he made just one of six field-goal attempts before landing on IR. The Titans can clear out $2 million in cap space by releasing the 33-year-old kicker.

Tennessee placed Succop (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Succop has converted just one of six field-goal attempts since being activated from injured reserve in early November. It isn't clear if he suffered a setback with his knee or if his poor accuracy is the result of playing at less than full strength over the past couple months. Whatever the case, the Titans signed Greg Joseph to replace Succop as their placekicker for the rest of the season.

Succop missed his lone field-goal attempt, but did make all three of his extra-point attempts in the team's Week 15 loss to the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Succop had a 45-yard field goal blocked at the conclusion of the Titans' fist offensive possession. He's now just 1-for-6 on field-goal attempts since returning from injured reserve, though he has managed to make 24 of his 25 extra-point attempts. Nevertheless, his job could be in jeopardy as the team closes the season with two must-win contests against the Saints and Texans.

Succop missed his only field-goal attempt but did make all six of his extra-point attempts in the Titans' Week 14 win over the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Succop hit the left upright from 42 yards away to close the first half. He has now hit just one of his five field-goal attempts for the season, struggling to get in rhythm after missing the first eight weeks of the campaign with a knee injury. Given the importance of victories at this point in the season for Tennessee, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the team consider a change at the position.

Succop made his lone field-goal attempt and also made all four of his extra-point attempts in the team's Week 13 win over the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Succop put together his second consecutive strong performance, converting his lone field-goal attempt from 41 yards away. He also connected on each of his extra-point attempts, marking the second consecutive week he's made all of his kicks. Given that the team added competition in Ryan Santoso Nov. 27, it was imperative for Succop to have a good performance. As a result of his perfect effort, he'll likely hang onto the kicker job as the team heads into a Week 14 matchup against the Raiders.

Succop may have job competition after the Titans signed Ryan Santoso on Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the Titans intend on rostering Succop and Santoso for Sunday's game against the Colts, Wyatt explains they haven't determined how they'll deploy the tandem. There is a chance Santoso takes over kickoff duties. However, Succop has missed all three field-goal attempts since signing with the team Week 9, so there could be a competition if those struggles continue. For fantasy purposes, fading Succop in Week 13 is a viable option since he appears to be on a short leash.

Succop did not attempt a field goal but did make all six of his extra-point attempts in the team's Week 12 win against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Succop made all of his kicks for the first time since returning from his knee injury in Week 10. While he did not attempt any field goals, he did convert all six of his extra-point attempts. Succop will look to keep things going in the team's Week 13 matchup against the Colts.
