Succop drilled a 48-yard field goal -- his only placekicking opportunity of the game -- in the Buccaneers' 38-3 loss to the Saints on Sunday night.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran kicker gave his leg an unwelcome rest in the unexpectedly lopsided loss, providing the only points of the night for the Buccaneers with his fifth field goal of between 40 and 49 yards on the campaign. Succop's three points were a season-low figure for him, but on the brighter side, he's now working on a five-game streak without a missed kick of any kind. He'll look to keep that momentum in what could be a high-scoring Week 10 divisional clash with the Panthers in Carolina.

Succop drilled field goals of 37, 40, 43 and 38 yards and converted his only extra-point try in the Buccaneers' 25-23 win over the Giants on Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran kicker was flawless for the fourth straight game, and his four field goals tied a season high. All of Succop's field goals had importance to varying degree in what turned out to be an unexpectedly narrow win for the Buccaneers, but his 38-yarder with 3:41 remaining was particularly critical in that it proved the difference in the game. Succop heads into what could be another busy night against the Saints in Week 9 with his best field-goal accuracy rate (88.2 percent) since 2016 and a perfect 10-for-10 tally on attempts up to 39 yards.

Succop drilled a 29-yard field-goal attempt and converted all six extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 45-20 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The nine-point effort for Succop was certainly solid and represented a maximizing of his opportunities, but for the second consecutive contest, the Buccaneers' extreme offensive efficiency under Tom Brady's stewardship capped the veteran kicker's overall fantasy upside. Succop has seen just two field-goal attempts and a whopping 11 extra-point tries over that span, a stark contrast to a Week 5 loss to the Bears when he was able to successfully hit all four of his three-point chances. Nevertheless, at least Tampa Bay is consistently putting Succop in position to compile points, and he's largely made good by posting an 84.6 percent success rate on field goals and a 96.2 percent figure on point-after attempts.

Succop made his sole field-goal attempt from 50 yards out and drilled all five of his extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 38-10 win over the Packers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran kicker made it interesting on his one field-goal try, benefitting from the ball hooking inward several inches while in flight to successfully cap off a six-play, 43-yard drive that was the first of the second half. The 50-yarder served as Succop's longest successful kick of the season and marked his first field goal of at least that distance since the 2018 campaign. Succop continues to carry plenty of fantasy value due to the offense he's attached to, and his 83.3 percent success rate on field goals and 95.0 percent accuracy on extra points has led to a solid tally of 49 points through six games.

Succop connected on field-goal attempts of 39, 35, 46 and 25 yards and also made his only extra-point try in the Buccaneers' 20-19 loss to the Bears on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Succop saw plenty of opportunities with the Bears constantly bogging the Buccaneers down on Chicago's side of the field, and he parlayed them into a fruitful fantasy night. The veteran placekicker displayed some accuracy from a respectable distance on the 46-yarder, noteworthy because his only two misses on the season have come from beyond 40 yards. Factoring in his eight-point day (one field goal, five XP) against the Chargers in Week 4, Succop has made it a rewarding four-day period for his fantasy managers. He'll be poised for another busy day in what could be a wire-to-wire battle against the Packers in a Week 6 home showdown on Sunday, Oct. 18.

Succop misfired on a 44-yard field-goal attempt wide left, drilled a 26-yard attempt and converted all five extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 38-31 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran kicker fell just short of a perfect day for the second straight week, but his performance was still very rewarding from a fantasy perspective. Tom Brady's clear acclimation to coach Bruce Arians' offensive scheme is working to the benefit of Succop, who's now had the opportunity to attempt 12 kicks overall in the last two games. The 12-year veteran has 28 points over his first four contests, with the one concern being that both of his missed field goals have come from beyond 40 yards. He'll look to tighten things up further in a Week 5 Thursday night matchup against a solid Bears defense that could force some drives to stall out short of the goal line.

Succop made field-goal attempts of 43 and 35 yards and converted two of three extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 28-10 win over the Broncos on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Succop's one miss came on a block after the second of Mike Evans' two second-quarter touchdown receptions. Otherwise, the veteran kicker enjoyed another fruitful fantasy day facilitated by an improving Buccaneers offense. Through three games, Succop is 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts of 49 yards or below, 0-for-1 on his only one from beyond 50 yards and 4-for-5 on extra-point tries.

Succop converted his only field-goal attempt from 33 yards and drilled all four of his extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 31-17 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran kicker put together an even better performance than in the Week 1 loss to the Saints, accounting for seven points overall in the win. Succop was capped by an efficient Buccaneers offense Sunday in the sense that he only received one field-goal attempt, but he certainly has bright prospects overall on a team with an offense that has as many playmakers as Tampa Bay's.

Succop drilled a 38-yard field goal attempt, had a 54-yard attempt partly blocked and was successful on both of his extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 34-23 loss to the Saints on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
As those numbers demonstrate, it was a mostly successful Bucs debut for Succop, considering his one misfire wasn't entirely his fault and was from a difficult distance to begin with. Succop brings a solid 11-season track record into Tampa, one that includes better than 85.0 percent accuracy on field goals in four of his last five 16-game campaigns, numbers that were key to him usurping 2019 fifth-round pick Matt Gay for the job late in training camp despite just a brief audition. Succop could be in for an even more productive day in Week 2, as the Bucs draw a matchup against the vulnerable Panthers defense.

The Buccaneers will waive Matt Gay, leaving Succop as the team's kicker heading into Week 1, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The recently signed kicker will thus supplant Gay, with Succop stepping into a pretty solid fantasy context, considering that he'll be working behind a Tampa Bay offense loaded with skilled players and now helmed by QB Tom Brady.
