Gronkowski (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
As anticipated, Gronkowski was back at practice after he sat out Wednesday's session due to the shoulder issue. Prior to that session, coach Bruce Arians characterized Gronkowski's absence as a veteran's day off, so the Buccaneers don't seem to harbor any real concern about the tight end's status for Sunday's game in Las Vegas. The Buccaneers will wait and see if Gronkowski is able to upgrade to full participation Friday before determining whether he'll carry a designation into the weekend.

Gronkowski (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report.
EDGE Analysis
Earlier Wednesday, coach Bruce Arians told Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site that Gronkowski was slated for a veteran's day off, but the tight end instead has "shoulder" attached to his name. Gronkowski will look to get in some reps by the end of the week, but Arians' comments seem to imply he'll be OK for Sunday's game at Las Vegas.

Gronkowski, along with longtime teammate Tom Brady, was given a veteran's day off from practice Wednesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Any absence of practice participation on the part of a player the caliber of Gronkowski is always newsworthy, but this report allays any health-related concerns. The multi-time Pro Bowler has seemingly started to hit his stride in coach Bruce Arians' offense, as Gronkowski has a 15-207-1 line over his last four games.

Gronkowski caught five of eight targets for 78 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-10 win over the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
The 78 receiving yards were not only a season high for the veteran tight end, it led the team on a day when the Bucs' defense dominated the opposition, while Gronkowski's 12-yard TD catch right before halftime was his first in a Tampa Bay uniform. While it's worth noting that Gronk's best performance of the year came when both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin were in the lineup, Evans only saw two targets and the team didn't pass the ball much in the second half. If Tampa's Week 7 road trip to Las Vegas ends up supplying a less friendly game script, Gronkowski could once again find himself taking a back seat in the passing game.

Gronkowski (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Green Bay, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
There was never any suggestion of Gronkowski's game status being in jeopardy. He upgraded to full practice participation Friday, setting him up for his usual role in a battle of NFC heavyweights. Gronkowski started the season slow, but he's played 80 percent or more of snaps in three straight games, averaging 3.3 catches for 43 yards on 5.3 targets in that stretch.

Gronkowski (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Tampa Bay is managing Gronkowski's reps carefully this week while he manages a shoulder injury, as he's now been limited in back-to-back workouts. So long as he upgrades to full activity Friday, Gronkowski should enter Sunday's game against the Packers minus an injury designation. Gronkowski has yet to reach the end zone this season, but the Buccaneers have freed him up for more receiving work of late after he served mainly as a blocking specialist in the team's first two contests. Over the last three weeks, Gronkowski has drawn 16 targets, turning them into 10 receptions for 129 yards.

Gronkowski (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Gronkowski was listed as a limited participant in both of the Buccaneers' first two practices of Week 5 before upgrading to full participation in the final session and then suiting up in team's 20-19 loss to the Bears. With no news coming out of that contest indicating Gronkowski aggravated the shoulder injury, the Buccaneers are likely just managing his reps to begin Week 6. With O.J. Howard (Achilles) out for the season, and all of Mike Evans (ankle), Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Scotty Miller (hip/groin) also dealing with injuries, Gronkowski stands to be consistently involved on offense during Sunday's contest against the Packers.

Gronkowski (shoulder) secured three of six targets for 52 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-19 loss to the Bears on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tight end looked like his old self on a 23-yard catch-and-run play in the fourth quarter, even as he appeared to come up a bit gimpy after the grab. However, Gronkowski was unable to corral a key third-down pass that was a bit behind him on the Buccaneers final drive, a possession that ended on downs on an incompletion to Cameron Brate on the next play. Gronkowski has shown some signs of life over the last three games after a very lackluster first pair of contests, securing 10 of 16 targets for 129 yards over that span. His target tally Thursday was his second highest of the campaign thus far, and he'll likely continue getting a fair amount of attention during the Buccaneers' Week 6 home showdown with the Packers on Sunday, Oct. 18.

Gronkowski (shoulder) doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game in Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Gronkowski followed an LP/LP/FP practice regimen this week, clearing him to play Week 5. The Buccaneers' tight end group endured the loss of O.J. Howard to a ruptured Achilles, while the receiving corps will be without Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Justin Watson (chest), so added targets could be available for Gronkowski to contribute. On the season, Gronkowski has put up just a 9-88-0 line on 14 targets through four games.

Gronkowski (shoulder) was limited at Tuesday's practice, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gronkowski hasn't looked like himself through four games, accounting for just one catch of greater than 20 yards, 6.3 YPT and no touchdowns on 14 targets. More looks could be on tap due to the banged-up nature of the Bucs' receiving corps and the fact fellow tight end O.J. Howard suffered a season-ending ruptured Achilles this past Sunday. That said, Gronkowski will look to rid himself of injury by the time Thursday's game at Chicago kicks off.
