Wayne did not have a catch and was not targeted in Sunday's playoff win over Denver despite playing 57 snaps on offense.
Wayne had just one catch and two targets in Indy's first playoff win. Wayne has been bypassed by Donte Moncrief (two receptions, eight targets) as the top wide receiver option after T.Y. Hilton.

Wayne (groin) will play in Sunday's game against the Bengals, ESPN's Mike Wells reports.
Wayne did not participate in Friday's practice, but the Colts merely wanted to get him some rest. Having logged a full practice Thursday, Wayne should be fine for Sunday's game.

Wayne (groin) practiced fully Thursday, the Colts' official site reports.
Wayne has expressed confidence that he will be at full strength this weekend against the Bengals, a notion supported by his full practice participation Thursday. Barring any setbacks, look for the veteran wideout to draw a probable designation in advance of Sunday's playoff contest.

Wayne (groin), who was spotted at practice Wednesday, is confident that he will be good to go Sunday against the Bengals, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports.
"I'll be ready to play," Wayne noted of his availability for the Colts' playoff opener on his weekly radio show on Tuesday night. "That's the main thing. I'll be at 100 percent." We'll continue to track Wayne's status as the week rolls along, but at this stage, it looks like the veteran wideout will be out there for Sunday's 1:05 ET contest, in the absence of any setbacks in practice.

Coach Chuck Pagano indicated Monday that Wayne (groin) should be able to practice this week, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' website reports.
It remains to be seen if Wayne -- who felt a "twinge" in his groin at the tail end of an 80-yard passing play on Sunday -- practices Wednesday or Thursday, or both days, but for his part, the veteran wideout indicated that the injury won't affect his playing status for this weekend's Wild Card round.

Wayne is slated to have have surgery on his partially torn left triceps after the 2014 season, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Wayne, who is slated to become a free agent this offseason, will reportedly consider retirement at that time, but for now, he'll continue to work through his triceps issue. In the short term though, with the Colts not having much to play for this week, Wayne would seem to be a candidate to be rested or see limited action Sunday against the Titans.

Wayne had three catches for 23 yards in Sunday's 42-7 loss to the Cowboys. He was targeted five times.
The Colts got run out of the building Sunday, leading to lackluster stat lines for all of their skill position players. With a first-round bye no longer a possibility, Indianapolis may rest some of its veterans next week against Tennessee, and Wayne would seemingly be a prime candidate. You'll need to keep an eye on the Colts' plans for Wayne if you're hoping to use him in Week 17.

Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said he hasn't ruled out giving Wayne some rest the final two games of the regular season, WTHR in Indianapolis reports.
Pagano didn't specifically talk about Wayne, but when asked about him he said he'd do what's best for each player as far as rest the final two games. There's a real risk Wayne sees limited snaps the next two weeks since he's been playing through a triceps injury and with the Colts having clinched a division title. Donte Moncrief may be set for more playing time as a result.

Wayne (triceps) had four catches on five targets for 24 yards Sunday against the Texans.
Wayne has reportedly been playing through a torn triceps recently, which can certainly help explain his last four stat lines for 3-10-0, 4-31-0, 1-5-0 and 4-24-0. However, he may have to step up in Week 16 against the Cowboys after T.Y. Hilton suffered a hamstring injury against the Texans on Sunday. That being said, if the triceps injury continues to bother him, quarterback Andrew Luck may have to go elsewhere to make up the void if Hilton can't play.
