Peyton Manning completed 27-of-38 passes for 301 yards and a touchdown at Carolina in Week 10.
Manning joins Drew Brees and Matt Ryan as the only quarterbacks to clear the 300-yard mark versus the Panthers this season. He did so on a 46-yard deep fade to Demaryius Thomas in garbage time. An efficient Manning completed over 70 percent of his passes and found Brandon Stokley wide open for a 10-yard touchdown. Losing two possession to special teams and defensive touchdowns, Manning failed to reach three scores for the first time since Week 3. He has a rematch with the Chargers in Week 11.

Peyton Manning (thumb) is practicing in full this week.
"It's OK, it's OK, it's sore, but it's more of irritant than anything," Manning said Wednesday. The injury appeared to be bothering Manning late in the first half of Sunday's win, but wasn't an issue after halftime. Playing some of the best football of his career, Manning is locked-and-loaded for another big game against the Bengals.

Peyton Manning completed 22-of-30 passes for 305 yards and three touchdowns in Denver's 34-14 Week 8 win over the Saints.
Buoyed by a robust rushing attack, Manning was surgical as the Broncos absolutely wiped out the Saints, rolling up 530 yards of offense to New Orleans' 252. In what's become a common theme, Manning looked every bit his vintage self, and has now thrown for at least 300 yards in five consecutive games. He's posted an eye-popping 14:1 TD:INT ratio over that time period. Tonight's dominant effort came despite a split fingernail on his throwing thumb. Even if Manning's lost a little bit of his zip, he's playing as well as he ever did in Indy. The Broncos are going to waltz to the AFC West title. The Bengals are on tap for Week 9.

Peyton Manning is getting blitzed on 31.8 percent of his drop backs this season.
In 2009, defenses blitzed Manning on 26.1 percent of his pass attempts, and just 24.2 percent in 2010. This is no shocker. Defenses were testing the veteran QB after a year off. However, Manning's three consecutive 300-yard games may cause defenses to be less agressive moving forward.

Peyton Manning completed 24-of-30 passes for 309 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in Denver's 35-24, Week 6 win over the Chargers.
Manning and the offense couldn't get on the field in the first half after the Broncos' special teams muffed a punt and a kick away to San Diego early on, but it was a whole different story in the final 30 minutes. Peyton completed 13 straight passes to start the second half and threw all three scores in that span. Eric Decker and Brandon Stokley were his favorite targets on the night. Manning's pick-six came on a miscommunication with Matthew Willis in the second quarter, but aside from that, he was flawless. The Broncos head into their bye week at 3-3 and in first place in the AFC West. New Orleans will travel to Denver in Week 8.

Peyton Manning completed 31-of-44 passes for 345 yards and three touchdowns in Denver's Week 5 loss to the Patriots.
He also lost a fumble. Manning entered halftime a solid 13-of-18 for 137 yards and a touchdown, but again did a ton of his damage with the Broncos working back from a big deficit, racking up 194 of his yards and two of his scores after Denver fell behind 31-7 in the third quarter. It's hardly an issue for fantasy owners, but Manning and the Broncos can't continue to fall behind early. As it is, Manning has now thrown for at least 330 yards in three straight starts, and hasn't tossed a pick since the first quarter in Week 2. The Broncos are on bye in Week 6, but will get the Saints' dysfunctional defense in Week 7.

Aside from the first quarter against Atlanta in Week 2, Peyton Manning has not thrown an interception this season.
Throw out the one bad quarter, and Manning has completed 92-of-143 passes (64.3 percent) for 1,117 yards (7.81 YPA), and an 8:0 TD-to-INT ratio through four games. Despite some perceived loss of arm strength and velocity, Manning is squarely back in the QB1 mix. Peyton Manning shredded the Raiders in Denver's 37-6 Week 4 win, completing 30-of-38 passes for 338 yards and three touchdowns.
Like Ben Roethlisberger in Week 3, Manning faced no resistance from the Raiders' pathetic pass defense, doing whatever he wanted in by far his best outing as a Bronco. Manning rarely challenged downfield, however, with a huge chunk of his yards being of the "after the catch" variety. Nevertheless, it was still an extremely encouraging effort following Manning's up-and-down first three games, and featured crisp play throughout, not just in comeback mode. Although it's unquestionable Manning's arm strength is diminished, he certainly still has what it takes to lead the Broncos to an NFC West title. With 25 percent of the season in the books, Manning is on pace for 4,648 yards, 32 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

One veteran NFL scout observed to NFL Network's Albert Breer Sunday night that Peyton Manning "can't throw the ball anymore."
The stats are okay (5:3 TD-to-INT ratio, 60 percent completion rate, 7.2 YPA), but far off Manning's usual standard. He's been inconsistent in terms of velocity and deep passing ability. Added ESPN's Ron Jaworski, "When I see the ball coming out of his hand, what I see is a little wobble on it. That's not what you want to see. We like to see that thing spinning really nice, tight on a spiral." The Broncos face a brutal Raiders pass defense in Week 4.

Peyton Manning had an up-and-down game in Denver's 31-25 Week 3 loss to the Texans, completing 26-of-52 passes for 323 yards and two interceptions.
Manning was simply awful through his first three quarters of play, completing just 17-of-35 passes for 210 yards. His throws lacked zip, while he rarely hit receivers in stride. The Texans muffed no fewer than three easy interceptions. As he so often does, however, Manning kicked into gear in the fourth, rolling up 123 yards and scores of 38 and six yards. Demaryius Thomas failed to get his second foot in bounds on what would have been a 31-yard touchdown, and also dropped another potential deep ball midway through the fourth. It was nice to see Manning come alive late, but his arm strength is severely lacking, while he only truly looks comfortable in the hurry-up offense. The Broncos have adjustments to make heading into next week's tilt with the Raiders.
