Peyton Manning (ankle) participated fully in Broncos practice Friday. Manning got a rest day Wednesday before participating fully on Thursday and Friday. Despite noticeably reduced arm strength after last week's safety by Robert Mathis, Manning is a locked-and-loaded elite QB1 versus Washington.

Peyton Manning completed 29-of-40 passes for 387 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday night's Week 7 loss to the Colts. Manning struggled for most of the game before making a late comeback attempt in the fourth quarter. He had two turnovers, including a sack fumble that resulted in a safety, and tried to force a number of low percentage throws downfield. Despite the off night, he still managed to nearly get the Broncos in position for a victory and finished with a 96.1 quarterback rating. Manning will be a top-three fantasy option against the Redskins' beleaguered secondary in Week 8.

Peyton Manning completed 28-of-42 passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Broncos' Week 6 win over the Jaguars. He also lost two fumbles and was pick-sixed by Paul Posluszny. This was actually the slowest game of Manning's season to date. The Jaguars don't have much talent on defense, but played incredibly hard and got some pressure on Manning while playing physical press coverage, which is always a recipe for passing-game struggles. Of course, our expectations are obviously raised when two touchdowns and 290-plus passing yards can be considered "struggling." Keep Manning rolling when the Broncos take on the Colts next Sunday night.

Peyton Manning completed 33-of-42 passes for 414 yards with four touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's Week 5 win at Dallas. Manning also rushed for a touchdown (his first in five years) on a naked bootleg from the 1-yard line. But he proved he was actually human late, underthrowing Eric Decker and getting picked off for the first time all year. Still, it was Manning's third game this year with four touchdowns or more and the second time he's gone over 400 yards passing. We fear for the manhood of the Jags defense in Week 6. The only thing that will keep Manning from another 400-yard, 4-TD day will be John Fox potentially calling the dogs off in the second half.

Former coach Tony Dungy says Peyton Manning "will be better in November." "I'll tell you what's scary. ... He's still getting used to his receivers, I can tell you, the longer he works with guys, the better they'll all be," Dungy said. It's almost impossible for Manning to be better statistically going forward. He leads the NFL in completion percentage (75.0), passing yards (1470), touchdowns (16), passer rating (138.0) and has thrown zero interceptions. Manning has a legit shot at breaking Drew Brees' NFL record for passing yards (5476 in 2011) and Tom Brady's record for touchdowns (50 in 2007).

Peyton Manning completed 32-of-37 passes for 374 yards and three touchdowns in Monday night's Week 3, 37-21 win over the Raiders. The game wasn't as close as the box score suggests. Manning and the Broncos' offense had their way with the Raiders' secondary. Oakland couldn't generate any pressure with their four-man front. Any time they sent extra defenders, Manning knew where they were coming from and found his open receiver. He was sacked just once on the night but lost a fumble in the red zone on the play. Peyton's three scores went to Eric Decker, Wes Welker, and Julius Thomas. It was just another day at the office. The Broncos host the Eagles next Sunday.
