Wallace caught four passes for 44 yards on 10 targets in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace's fast start to the season feels like a distant memory, with a healthy Steve Smith rapidly re-emerging as Joe Flacco's favorite option. While seemingly locked in as a starter and still third on the team in targets, Wallace will likely be inconsistent all season.

Wallace had three catches for 34 yards on six targets in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace made the most of a limited workload in the first two games, turning three of his 12 targets into scores. He drew exactly six targets for a third straight game, but this time wasn't able to have the same impact. Wallace did lead the team's wideout with 50 snaps, comfortably outpacing Steve Smith (40), Chris Moore (26), Breshad Perriman (26) and Kamar Aiken (23). However, Smith and TE Dennis Pitta have received more of Joe Flacco's attention, with Wallace serving as more of a deep threat than a primary target. Given his dependence on touchdowns and deep passes, in combination with Smith's rapid re-emergence, Wallace will likely be inconsistent all season. The sell-high window may have already passed.

Wallace caught four of six targets for 41 yards and a pair of touchdowns during Sunday's win over the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace caught a seven-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter and a 17-yard score in the fourth, helping the Ravens dig out of a 21-0 deficit accrued in a five-minute span in the first. Wallace wasn't able to generate a big play and didn't rack up the amount of yardage he did in the season opener, but he now has three touchdowns through two games and seems to be developing a nice rapport with Joe Flacco. Wallace could be a strong play once again next week versus a Jaguars defense that allowed four passing scores on Sunday.

Wallace corralled three of his six targets for 91 yards and a touchdown while adding an 11-yard rush in Sunday's Week 1 victory over the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace provided Baltimore's lone touchdown on a 66-yard bomb from big-armed quarterback Joe Flacco. The former Steelers speedster is coming off a down season with the Vikings, but showed that he still has some gas left in the tank at age 30. He could emerge as the leading receiver in a muddled group for the Ravens.

Wallace caught three passes for 37 yards on six targets in Saturday's preseason game against the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
All six targets came from Joe Flacco, who overthrew an open Wallace on a deep shot on the first snap of the game. The two later displayed better chemistry in the intermediate passing game, though one of the other missed targets was an apparent miscommunication on a fourth-down attempt. With Steve Smith (Achilles) and Breshad Perriman (knee) likely to be absent or limited at the start of the season, Wallace and Kamar Aiken still figure to be Week 1 starters, though they probably won't have good job security. A fast start could make Wallace the go-to receiver, while a slow start could drop him to third or fourth on the depth chart in a hurry.

Wallace was not targeted in Saturday's preseason game against the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
The lack of contribution is a non-concern, as Wallace and Kamar Aiken seem to have locked down starting jobs in the absence of Steve Smith (Achilles) and Breshad Perriman (knee). The Ravens played Saturday's game without Joe Flacco (knee), who recently heaped praise on the 30-year-old wideout while also making it clear the two have already established a strong rapport, according to ESPN.com. Even if Smith and/or Perriman were to return, they wouldn't necessarily displace Aiken or Wallace atop the depth chart, as the 37-year-old Smith is still recovering from a devastating injury, and the 22-year-old Perriman hasn't played an NFL snap.

Wallace and Kamar Aiken have been getting most of the first-team reps at training camp, ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace got off to a rocky start, missing the first practice of training camp after he failed the Ravens' notoriously-difficult conditioning test. He passed the test shortly thereafter, and has already emerged as a likely Week 1 starter, with both Steve Smith (Achilles) and Breshad Perriman (knee) in danger of missing all or most of camp. Wallace joined the Ravens on a two-year, $11.5 million contract, which strongly suggests the team envisions him having a key role.

Wallace passed the Ravens' conditioning test Friday morning, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace hit five of the test's six benchmarks Thursday, leaving little question he'd be able to pass within the first few days of training camp. This can now be written off as a non-issue, as there's been no indication Wallace showed up to camp overweight or otherwise out of shape. With Steve Smith (Achilles) and Breshad Perriman (knee) both shaky for the early part of the season, Wallace and Kamar Aiken may need to lead the Baltimore wideout corps.

Wallace failed a conditioning test that he will need to pass before he's allowed to practice, the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace may get another chance to pass the test Thursday, prior to the Ravens' first full-squad practice of training camp. He did hit five of the six benchmarks on the test, suggesting it shouldn't be long before he's on the field. Wallace signed a two-year, $11.5 million contract in March, despite posting a 39-473-2 receiving line for the Vikings last season. It initially appeared he might need to compete for snaps, but with Steve Smith (Achilles) and Breshad Perriman (Achilles) uncertain for Week 1, the Ravens may end up relying on Wallace more than originally expected.

Wallace was an everyday participant throughout voluntary OTAs, the Ravens' official website reports.
EDGE Analysis
When Wallace agreed to a two-year, $11.5 million contact in March, it appeared he would face tough competition for targets, joining a team that already had Steve Smith (Achilles), Kamar Aiken and Breshad Perriman (knee), in addition to a stable of capable pass-catchers at running back and tight end. Though the latter part of the equation remains unchanged, Wallace's competition for snaps out wide may be lacking, as both Smith and Perriman are uncertain for the start of the season. Set to turn 30 in early August, the speedy veteran is trying to bounce back from a career-worst 39-473-2 receiving line, hoping he won't be marginalized in the Ravens offense the way he was with Minnesota.
