Wallace caught four passes for 97 yards on nine targets in Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Giant.
EDGE Analysis
With Steve Smith (ankle) unavailable for the first game under new offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, six Baltimore players drew at least six targets, led by Wallace and TE Dennis Pitta (10). As expected, Joe Flacco took more deep shots than in past weeks, including a 70-yard completion to Wallace, who was dragged down by his face mask five yards shy of the end zone. He then brought his team back into scoring range on the next drive when he drew a 42-yard pass interference penalty. Given the positive early returns, Wallace should see more deep passes headed his way in Week 7 against a leaky Jets secondary.

Wallace (chest) is active Sunday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace has amassed 39 targets through the season's first five weeks, checking in at first on the team in touchdowns (3) and yards per catch (13.0). His role could expand even further Sunday afternoon, as Steve Smith (ankle) had been ruled out for the contest. Breshad Perriman and Kamar Aiken should have roles as well, but even at 30 years old, Wallace should be the man quarterback Joe Flacco looks to when attempting to air it deep.

Wallace (chest) is expected to play Sunday against the Giants, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace is officially listed as questionable to play, and his availability will be a big boost to the Ravens, who are not expected to have Steve Smith (ankle) on Sunday. Wallace has already been a popular option for quarterback Joe Flacco, with 21 targets in his last two games, and that could grow with Smith's absence.

Wallace (chest/ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Wallace was a limited practice participant Wednesday and full participant both Thursday and Friday, suggesting he's in no real danger of missing Sunday's game. Steve Smith (ankle), on the other hand, is listed as doubtful, leaving Wallace as the likely No. 1 wide receiver in an offense that's averaging 43.2 pass attempts per game. He's already averaging 7.8 targets per contest, with 10 and 11 the past two weeks, but he hasn't made any big plays since scoring three touchdowns in his first two games. While volume shouldn't be an issue, Wallace may not have enough time to get open, as the Baltimore offensive line has been decimated by injuries.

Wallace (chest/rib) was listed as a full practice participant Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Though previous reports relayed that Wallace sported a red (non-contact) jersey at practice Thursday, being listed by the team as practicing fully suggests that the wideout is on track to play Sunday against the Giants, as he suggested would be the case Wednesday.

Wallace (chest/rib) continued to sport a red (non-contact) jersey at practice Thursday,ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite his limitations at practice this week, Wallace expects to play Sunday against the Giants. Meanwhile, the Week 6 status of fellow wideout Steve Smith is less certain, after he missed his second practice in a row Thursday.

Wallace (chest) was limited at practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Whether he is dealing with a rib issue, as previously reported, or a chest ailment as the Ravens' injury report would suggest, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com relays that the wideout is not concerned about his availability for Sunday's game against the Giants. "I'll be all right. I'll be ready to go Sunday." The status of fellow WR Steve Smith (ankle) seems less certain, however, which could lead to an expanded role for Kamar Aiken in Week 6.

Wallace (ribs) sported a non-contact jersey Wednesday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's not initially clear how much Wallace was able to participate in Wednesday's practice, but it appears he is still at least a little sore after taking a hard hit to the midsection on the final play of the Ravens' loss to the Redskins on Sunday.

Wallace acknowledged that he took a hard shot to the ribs on the final offensive snap of Sunday's loss to Washington, The Baltimore Sun reports. "I wanted to bounce up fast, but that one kind of got me," Wallace said. "I think that is the longest I have ever been down in my career."
EDGE Analysis
While the team hasn't reported any injury, Wallace was clearly at least a bit banged up. However, he might have a shot to avoid the Week 6 injury report, as it's possible he just suffered a bruise and had the wind knocked out of him. The larger concern is the health of fellow Ravens wideout Steve Smith, who was unable to return after exiting Sunday's game in the first quarter due to an ankle injury. Wallace accordingly finished with a team-high 11 targets, but he only turned them into seven catches for 63 yards, failing to impress for a third consecutive week. He has mostly struggled since flukishly scoring three touchdowns in the first two games, but there is finally a bit of cause for optimism, as the Ravens fired offensive coordinator Marc Trestman on Monday. New OC Marty Mornhinweg might consider prioritizing deep passes to the speedy Wallace, which was something the Ravens hyped considerably before the season. Wallace has caught just one pass of more than 17 yards, despite ranking second on the team with 39 targets. Between the coordinator change and Smith's potential absence, Wallace does have a nice shot to turn things around in Week 6 against the Giants, assuming he's healthy enough to play.

Wallace appeared to suffer an injury on the final offensive snap of Sunday's loss to Washington, finishing with seven catches for 63 yards on 11 targets.
EDGE Analysis
The injury aside, this obviously isn't what the Ravens had in mind when they signed Wallace, who earned a reputation for his big-play ability early in his career. He did lead the team in targets Sunday, but he had little success when matched up against top cornerback Josh Norman, who often handled Wallace without any safety help. Despite getting more opportunities after Steve Smith (ankle) was forced out for good in the first quarter, Wallace mostly failed to capitalize, with his long gain going for only 13 yards. He then dropped a fourth-down pass to end the game, though it would have been nearly impossible to hang on to the ball, as Joe Flacco left him hanging out to dry. No update was available after the game, but it did appear Wallace suffered an injury, possibly even a concussion. The already-struggling Ravens offense may thus be very shorthanded for Week 6 against the Giants.
