Pittman, who approaches training camp as the Colts' top wide receiver, looks forward to working with veteran QB Matt Ryan this coming season, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
EDGE Analysis
In 17 games last season, the 2020 second-rounder caught 88 of his 129 targets for 1,082 yards and six TDs. Pittman posted those numbers while working in a run-heavy offense paced by Jonathan Taylor, with Carson Wentz handling the team's signal-caller duties. Wentz's uneven play led to his offseason trade to Washington, paving the way for the arrival of Ryan, a steady veteran QB whose ball placement has impressed the 24-year-old wideout. While Pittman remains the team's clear cut top pass-catching option, Alec Pierce (a 2022 second-round pick) and Parris Campbell, who's had trouble staying on the field, are next up in the Colts' WR pecking order. With that in mind, Pittman is a candidate to see an uptick in production this year, assuming he continues to build chemistry with Ryan as the summer rolls along.

Pittman recorded six receptions on seven targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-11 loss to the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Pittman was shockingly not targeted in the first half of the game, though Carson Wentz took to the air only seven times. However, he came to life on the Colts' final offensive possession of the game, racking up four receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown to salvage his day. Despite recording under five receptions in six games, Pittman took a significant step forward in his second season as a pro by more than doubling each of his target, reception and yardage totals.

Pittman recorded six catches on six targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Pittman was efficient with his opportunities and recorded 7.8 yards per target. However, Carson Wentz took to the air only 27 times, which in turn led to Pittman seeing six targets or fewer for the fifth time in his last eight games. As a result, he's managed to top 70 receiving yards only three times while finding the end zone once in that span. Despite some of those negatives, Pittman topped 1,000 yards for the season with his performance, and he has also doubled his target total from his rookie campaign with one game remaining.

Pittman posted eight catches (on 12 targets) for 82 yards and took one carry for three yards during Saturday's 22-16 victory at Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Pittman bounced back from a Week 15 performance against the Patriots in which he hauled in just one of five targets for seven yards before getting ejected for an altercation with opposing safety Kyle Dugger. In his fifth outing of the season with double-digit targets Saturday, Pittman racked up his most receiving yards since Week 8, but his TD-free streak now has reached six games. He'll look to put together a more complete performance in the Colts' next contest Sunday, Jan. 2 versus the Raiders.

Pittman caught one of five targets for seven yards before being ejected in the third quarter of Saturday's 27-17 win over the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
It was already a rough night for Pittman and the Colts' passing game as a whole before the wideout got into an altercation with Pats safety Kyle Dugger which resulted in both players getting tossed. The abbreviated outing wound up being Pittman's least productive game of the season, but it's unlikely he'll face further discipline from the league for his part in the incident, so he should be able to bounce back in Week 16 against the Cardinals.

Pittman caught six of eight targets for 77 yards and rushed twice for 33 yards in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Pittman led the Colts in all major receiving categories, rebounding after totaling just 76 yards over his prior two games. The wideout also added a couple rushes for good measure, including a game-long 25-yarder. Overall, he topped 100 scrimmage yards for the third time this season, sending him into the bye week on a positive note.

Pittman brought in four of 10 targets for 53 yards in the Colts' 38-31 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The big-bodied receiver slogged through an inefficient afternoon, but he still turned in a serviceable performance from a fantasy perspective. Pittman's yardage total was his lowest since Week 6, but his Week 13 road matchup against the Texans should afford him more opportunities for production.

Sun 11/21/21 6:34 PM

Pittman brought in two of five targets for 23 yards in the Colts' 41-15 win over the Bills on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Pittman and the rest of the Colts' passing game took a clear back seat to the spectacular exploits of Jonathan Taylor, who compiled 204 total yards and five touchdowns. The second-year wideout had racked up 20 total catches over the previous three games, so Sunday's production was certainly a disappointment, irrespective of the fact it seemed more a byproduct of game script than anything else. Pittman will look to bounce back in a Week 12 interconference matchup versus the Buccaneers.

Sun 11/14/21 6:11 PM

Pittman secured all five targets for 71 yards in the Colts' 23-17 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The Colts' passing game took a back seat to Jonathan Taylor on Sunday, with the star second-year back logging a season-high 21 carries. However, Pittman still found a way to turn in a solid fantasy effort, pacing the Colts' pass catchers in receptions and receiving yards. Pittman has at least five catches in three consecutive contests, but he did see a three-game touchdown streak snapped Sunday and could have an uphill climb in starting a new one against a suffocating Bills secondary in Week 11.

Fri 11/5/21 12:29 AM

Pittman secured five of six targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 45-30 win over the Jets on Thursday night. He also fumbled once but it was recovered by Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a 10-catch, two-touchdown performance in the Week 8 overtime loss to the Titans, Pittman followed it up by pacing the Colts in receptions and receiving yards on the night. The second-year wideout recorded an 11-yard touchdown at the end of the first half as well, his fourth score in the last three games. Pittman's burgeoning red-zone role is certainly encouraging and could well continue to pay dividends in a Week 10 matchup against the vulnerable Jaguars secondary a week from Sunday.
